You know whats awesome about todays PC system? You can buy a fairly cheap setup for about 800ish dollars and fish out an extra 400 and you'll be at highest end of gaming for at least the next few years. Secret is liquid cooling, overclocking is awesome!

Then its also not true that if u buy AMD u have to buy ATI! actually AMD works great with Nvidia. Get the GTX470 and an nvidia 980a chipset mobo. and it will serve u well for at least 2 years!

And as far as performance goes.. check some reviews vs the 1090T and i7 930.

A core i7 930 is stock at 2.8 Ghz,, and beats the hell out of the x4 965 at 3.4Ghz...

And the i7 can be overclocked upto 4.2ghz with less than 1.4V but the AMD needs 1.5+V to even reach 4ghz... And its on air cooling..

The core i7s are just better for gaming at medium to high res with full graphics... An amd quad looses to a core i7 quad in GTA 4 and BC2... and for people who play multiplayer in either games need a better processor than an amd quad. And that fps boost counts in 3d gaming too....
