why dont you make DIY dritf wheels? just take out or buy new rims and then take it to the pipe store and try every size of pvc for it to fit.. so you wouldnt have to wait for a cold frosty day.

and yeah if the pvc pipe is a little loose then use a hot glue gun to make it stick

@georgeman21222 Hi - yes it's stock running a single 3s Lipo - can go faster with different gearing - you can mod completely with a bigger motor etc but I think it goes fast enough - just drive it staright on dry pavement : )

@Faintedimpact973 Probably tires - you can buy smooth tires with different hardness depending on how hot the surface is - talk to your local rc hobby store - mine is GoGo Hobbies. Btw I am running a single 3s lipo.

@17sadface it depends on tires bud think about it i mean low tourqe motor...its all about tires and surface get some 2in pvc pipes cut 4 one inch sections and hot glue them onto your rims and then try it

@snipingzombie Yeah I like it but it really depends what you want to do with your rc vehicle. My favourite 1/16 is the little e-revo, my friend likes the 1/16 slash - the good thing is you can mod all of these traxxas vehicles with different bodies, suspension, tires, diffs etc.

@pdylan1234 I bought it to drift on dry, wet and frosty pavement only and like it for that. I have 1/16 e-revo and my friend a 1/16 slash for off pavement use so dont use this car on the dirt. I guess you can mod with longer arms and different tires springs etc etc to handle more off road but for flat smooth packed down dirt should be fun as is.

@koz3bal Hey, I have one and I learned the secret to incredibly long runtimes: buy another battery. Get another one and connect it parallel with a special Y-connector they sell and you can get like 20 minute runtimes at LEAST.

@xlxViperxlx Hi - it running as out of the box except on a single 3s lipo, drilled body holes to cool, we later changed to a 23 tooth pinion.

@mdt005 Thunder Power 1350mAh 3s 11.V Pro Power 30C/60C burst - they fit and work great - seem to be very rugged for a soft pack - we use them in the 1/16 e revo and slash for bashing!

@daHashshashin I don't know if holes are "needed" for the lipo - but we found that with the constant rpms for drifting, the motor and esc were getting too hot even in this cold weather and the holes helped - have since changed pinion gear to 23 tooth and this cooled it right down for drifting.
