@LAFORGUS It's easier if you get the springball first. Many can't find it, but it's in the room wear the single grapple beam block crumbles and never regenerates. If you can manage to wall or bomb jump your way up there, the spring ball is yours.

i hate that stupid room only if you are a master in the control you can take it without spring ball =(

@OZKR2PAME Well if you're using an emu you can cheat by slowing the game down, making it much easier to get up in that tiny hole. And as you can see I didn't get it perfect the first time. These little tricks are pretty annoying to accomplish unfortunately. Just like getting that super missile tank, reserve tank, and missile tank in Brinstar.

Ok so if you wait until you have springball (also in Maridia to the right on the map) this is a piece of cake. Much easier than pulling your hair out perfecting this!

That stuff that makes you sink. Walk around in it to get. Basically, you leave in the same method you used to get in. Its that simple.

You got to come in from above. Not the first sinking sand, but the second. Up there is a save room. Run to the far right till you get to the wall, then shoot the floor beneath you and wa-la.

An Item that stores extra energy for later use. these things are exclusive to Super Metroid. You can manually restore energy, or set it to auto to restore your health when you run out. There are a total of four in this game. One in Brinstar, Norfair, Wrecked Ship, and finally, Maridia.

Pretty much, but one reserve tank stores 100 energy. So four resreve tanks = 400 extra energy.

Go to the stuff that makes you sink. Walk around until you go under. Thats how you get out.
