  • Hah I remember this, this was the night I graduated highschool. The white house at the top there, that's mine! You can ever see our blue car.

  • I'm from Dubuque and the last tornado warning was such a blown out of proportion joke! I was so scared cause I had to drive in weather like that and on the radio they were saying the tornado should be in Dubuque by now, it could be around the corner so be careful if you are driving. I was so freaked out lol.

But it was all bad reporting. Nice video though. It brought back the memories, lol!

  • @joydivstellar I remmber this i like in dubuque there was a warning but dont remmber a tornado

  • i live here, in dubuque.(:

  • pause at 2:01 its rly kewl :)

  • A day that will live in infamy for us around Hazleton and Parkersburg. These cells dropped and EF3 a mile south of our house causing considerable damage.

  • i remember this. i was at a friends house behind econo foods when it happend. i love storms like this cause it inspires me to write music on my guitar :)

  • I was in Grant County Wiscosin in Hazel Green and a tornado never fromed from this storm where I was at.

  • i remeber that storm. i live about 5 min away from dubuque and we got the tornado warning from the neighbor whose just happens to be a firefighter and we grabbed the cats nad the hampster and went to my grandmas house 50 feet away. we got funnel clouds right over us, spinning and everything. i remember going outside and being on old highway road and seeing a wall, literally a wall of rain coming from the west and it hit me. i was scared!!

  • @bebobbluebob

How did your cats do? Because my cat is scared of them and he is scared of flooding. I understand why.

  • im goin through dubque on august 2nd on my way to wisconsin dells:Pim from kansas city

  • i live 15 min. from dubuque it got very windy here but there wasn't a tornado

  • i live in dubuque, there will never be tornado her.

  • there already were tornadoes "HERE". It hit kennedy mall years ago and ripped the roof off.

  • That tornado never hit the city, it was just outside the city. The winds from the storm blew the roof off.

  • i live in dubuque as well but there will most likly never be a tornado cause dubuque is very hilly

  • haha.... exactly. I live here too.

  • Wrong. Tornadoes are formed high in the atmosphere, they don't care about hills.

There have been tornadoes here already, just not recently.

  • It seems that storms here in Dubuque die down when they hit the western edge of town. In my 5 years here I've never seen a good strong storm. I use to live about an hour outside of Chicago and I saw plenty of strong storms in less than a year. So my guess is a tornado probably won't develop here because of what ever is weakening these storms.

  • i live in dubuque but i was in missouri that weekend. i want to see one here!!!

  • i live in dubuque, iowa too. but i was in mussouri that weekend. i was soo scared for my dad and brother and my puppy. i was freaking out. i would want to see one in dubuque sometime!

  • The sirens are blowing in the background, but the biggest problem is that the wind was blowing towards the nearest sirens to where we are and thus the sound was muted out.

This storm did spawn tornados both east and west of us. About 60 miles west of us in Parkersburg, Iowa and about 25 miles east of us near Galena, IL. While we did get a small amount of pea-sized hail, we thankfully did not get the baseball-sized that this storm also dumped west of us.

  • This is my first video - yah
