  • *two old friends catching up at a coffee place*

Friend #1 : So do you like anyone?

Friend #2: Ya but it doesn't matter, i'll never be with him anyway.

Friend #1: Don't say that, of course things will turn out great. So what's his name?

    Friend #2: ........ Brendon Urie

    Friend #1:......... fuck -.-

  • @BLGNo1Fan I'm seeing them October 30th :D I'm SOSOSOSOSOSO excited! :D I hope they play "It's Almost Halloween" lol

  • I'M SEEING THEM ON FEB 2ND SO FUCKING EXCITED!!! just got my tickets :D

  • original demo version of this was better :/

  • Fcking love this!

  • i heard ryan ross now makes music like beetles style

  • Bahaha i asked if we could sing this for choir. So my teacher said ok blast my speakers! Lol so when it started, the class gave weird looks especially when the acordian (i think that's how u spell it lol) came in. But when the guitar came in everyone jumped and slowly smiles filled the room x) I love P!ATD :D

  • fans a bit hysterical. Then again, MCR is a pretty big band with a huuge teenage-girl-fanbase. I also find most of their songs quite theatrical, which multiplies their awesomeness by like, 10000000. And apparently two band members left? I did think "I'm pretty sure there were more than two people in P!ATD" when I first saw the album cover, but just figured that I was remembering wrong. But they did! What up with that? How come they left?

  • @zayilatan Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left because of music differences. So Brendon and Spencer found two more people who are willing to join them in their tour. But lets hope that they would return since Ryan did helped compose this song. And I find My Chemical Romance pretty awesome. Especially coming from a 19 year old female.

  • I just got into P!ATD and this song totally changed my life! I had told someone that I loved My Chemical Romance and they recommended that I listen to this song, and I AM SO GLAD I DID. I remember Panic! From the old days, but they were almost totally forgotten. But the thing that I love most about Panic! is how each of their albums is sooo different from the last. It keeps my attention, y'know? Same with MCR. Another thing is how all Panic! fans are really nice to each other. I found MCR

  • @Sdmysterio It's beacuse they made it for Pretty.Odd.

  • if I ever establish a new country this would be it's national anthem

  • @carabell7797 You must be one lucky person... I only got to see a video of Brendon stripping. It was pretty amazing. If I was there, I would have drooled and screamed like crazy :D

  • @Sdmysterio Only Ryro can compose such whimsical lyrics <3

  • WTF with the Monalisa thing at the end? It scared me a little...

  • @Skate66Girl Comes back to the first track. Plus, you find this a little scary, try watching The Overture the ending part. First time seeing it, it freaked me out.

  • aaww they were all so pleased to meet mona lisa..then she turns around and kills brendon....well!!

  • @48candycane hmm thats not very good. Especially coming from me who made this video and essentially love Brendon Urie. I think instead of Mona Lisa killing him, I think that she would probably asked him to have sex with her. Point of pleased to meet you, I would want Brendon Urie to have sex with me.... then again, this is coming from a female.

  • @carabell7797 I was there! Fucking hot!

  • they should have named the cd mona lisa cuz at the end the little kids were u know saying mona lisa pleased to meet ya and the most popular song off this cd is the ballad of mona lisa

  • @cupcakemonster54 They named it Vices and Virtues because this CD was them looking into themselves, seeing their own vices and virtues. ;)

  • NOT BRENDON BOYD URIE ITS NOW BRENDON SEXY URIE AND MY NAME IS NOW SAREA RENEE URIE

  • They were such a young ban to break up only after the 2nd album :( WHYYYYYY

  • ah, the only reason i dont like this song is because it reminds me of Ryan(cuz he helped compose it) and how he and jon are probabally never coming back :/

  • I just noticed at the end, the kids are saying "Mona Lisa, pleased to please ya'."

  • @OwlsnTurtles omg theyre really cute!

  • Comment removed

  • 4 people should go to jail for disliking this video

  • @craziiecookiezz you mean 3? :)

  • @moonsbirdsmonsters14 well, i saw the umber 4, i guess sumone changed their mind and liked it.

  • Am I the only one who liked this better as a demo?

  • why does this vid have a dislike button, that should be illegal!!! xD

  • I fucking love this whole album. The way the lyrics are composed, the sound, how witty and interesting it is, I just love all of it. Yeah, I miss Ryan and Jon. But I don't hold resentment at them for leaving, and I think both TYV and P!ATD are doing just fine. I will always love P!ATD, no matter what happens. <3

  • I still love the orignial demo of this song

  • The best song on the album because of it's lyrics. Enough said.

It's RYAN quality. I'm sorry, ryan made panic what it was, but whatever. I'm mad at the beatles and the beach boys and the kinks for influencing his mind.

AND I'M NOT SAYING THAT THEY'RE BAD BANDS, THEY'RE MUSICAL GODS.

    But ryan. Oh ryan. :`(

  • 3:47 *mona lisa pleased to please ya* :O... o.e

  • this and the demo is good!

  • TO MANY GODDAMN INSTRUMENTS. I cant hear brendans beautiful voice-3

  • @Sdmysterio Actually, he wrote half before the band split and Brendon and Spencer kept it. Ryan left it behind and never took it to The Young Veins, and now claims they aren't friends because Brendon and Spencer "stole his music so they could use it as their own." I think Ryan's just jealous Panic! went on without skipping a beat, regained a larger fanbase, while The Young Veins are nearly unknown.

  • they really need to make a music video for this song!

  • this album was a disappointment... completely. there other albums pwn this one.

  • Ryro helped compose this song. That probably explains the astonishingly confusing/amazing/puzzling lyrics..which i love.

That's what made panic special. i wish the 4 of them could've made some compromises or something.

Like a mixture of the sound from pretty odd and the polished pop sound brendon was aiming for.

Sigh. Excuse me while run off to drown myself in "northern downpour".

  • this song has gotta be my favorite from their new album cuz i had got em all on my ipod n listened to the ones that sounded good from about a minute or 2 in so i gave em a chance i skipped nearly witches everytime till one day i was too lazy to. n the chorus changed my life haha

  • @omgdudelikereallyy Pretty. Odd. is one of my favorite albums ever... X)

I absolutely adore this song too <3

  • these people cant speak french, their accents are crap; great song though

  • these people cant speak french, their accents are crap

  • someone get it without the lady talking D:< or the kids D:< ERGHHH

  • @Sdmysterio but... he left..

  • i reallly hope my neighbors like this song ..

  • I learn more words by listening to Panic! At the Disco than i do in english class :D

  • @ 3:46 you can hear the kids singing the bridge to ballad of mona Lisa

  • @Sdmysterio i'm pretty sure he's only listed because of one line he wrote that they used from back in the day. in interviews they said they took a line from back then, but everything else was newly written..

  • @fansiteaddict yeah its when he says "matching set of marching clocks". the song Behind The Sea (written by Ryan) has that line. but idk if thats why he's listed there. he might have helped with the composition too

  • i may have just raped the replay button...

  • Le premier jour, j'aime ton parfum en état d'ébriété. Et dans ces moments, je veux être comme toi à certains moments. Mais depuis ce jour-là, j'ai un seul regret

  • 2 people obviously never shot up with perfume..

  • this is the best in the new album

  • are the kids atthe end saying "mona lisa, pleased to meet cha" or am i totally off...?

  • @omgashes6 Please to please ya like in the ballad of mona lisa

  • @omgashes6

    They are indeed saying that.

  • @omgashes6 "pleased to please ya"

It's because Mona Lisa is the lead off single/first track and Nearly Witches is the last song on the album. They used it kinda like a wrap up.

  • @Sdmysterio why am i not at all surprised?

  • I bought this CD and this is the first song i went to (:

then of course i listened to the rest of it, start to finish :D

  • MY FAVORITE SONG FROM V&V ♥♥

  • whoa There titles actually make since

  • They're so much better now.

    Ryan Ross was Hitler. -.-

  • @nickiejonas7 i AGREE completely

  • The person that clicked on the dislike button has one regret.

  • isn't it funny how my favourite song, off this album, ryan ross helped compose :)

  • I'm staring to love this new album... but Pretty.Odd was my favorite and AFYCSO was absolutely amazing... hopefully this one grows on me a bit more.

  • i love it when the guitar comes in at 0:55

  • @octacom, ah, my favorite part to rock out to :D

  • this is my favorite! it's SO GOOD

  • @Sdmysterio Yeah, I figured it out when I was looking through the paperback of the album that I had preordered. I can't believe that Ryan collaborated with other composers to make such a good genre.

  • @spnfan124

maybe he just played the bass...this isn't really his style of music...maybe just a few add-ons with the bass :p

  • @spnfan124 in fact ryan was still in the band when they did this amazing song

  • Am I the only one who thinks V&V MIGHT surpass AFYCSO with time?

This song alone sends tremors down my spine every time I hear it. And including the 6 bonus tracks, I can honestly say there is not a single song I dislike. I'm a long time fan and say this with confidence. It's more well-rounded, polished, ambitious. AFYCSO is and will always be a classic, but I think this is DEFINITELY on the same level, though stylistically different. Pretty Odd is also great, but this album is just... wow.

  • @playbradlyplay I am right there with you. My friend says it's scene and processed, but AFYCSO was much more dark and (technically) immature because they were all so young. This album shows their maturity and willingness to take some risks. I was sad when I saw only ten songs, but with the bonus making it 16, I couldn't have been happier. I love every song because they are so heartfelt and deep. Pretty. Odd. was the two conflicting sounds colliding before they went their separate ways. Thoughts?

  • God, all three albums are wayyyy different from each other... My favorite is, and always will be, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Of course, i like Pretty. Odd. and V&V well enough, but it's just not the same....

  • I love this song!!

  • I don't understand why people are upset because Vices & Virtues doesn't sound like AFYCSO. ;3 Honestly, if all their CDs sounded the same, I probably would not like them as much. I love PATD because they can pretty much take any style and twist it into their own unique sound. (:

  • I love how they incorporate Mona Lisa in the end.

"Mona Lisa, Pleased to please ya." <3 Subtle and witty. I love it

  • @RoRo1624 Tying together the beginning and end of the CD :)

  • I really liked A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and I really liked Pretty. Odd. and I really like Vices and Virtues. I think they're all great albums and they're all different and unique which is so awesome cause then I never get bored listening to Panic! at the Disco!

  • i like the other version of this song better..but this one is good too.

  • I almost feel like this song is a mixture of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and Pretty Odd. The verses are like the first album, but when you get to the chorus, it's Pretty Odd. This album is just as good as the two before that. They have really brought together a MORE THAN FANTASTIC album after everything they have been through. Panic! will forever be musical geniuses, no matter what genre of music they're covering.

  • i am in ♥ w/ this song [:

  • Ever since we met, I ONLY shoot up with your perfume. It's the ONLY thing that makes me feel as good as you do! :)

  • AHHHHH SO ITS THE SAME AS CFOB. I WAS HOPING AND PRAYING AND WISHING THAT THEY WOULD RELEASE THIS AS A FULL SONG. OMG AKJSDHFLAKSDHFJKKASDFASDF IM SO EXCITED.

  • Can anyone translate the beginning?

  • @meltyourheadaches326 "On the first day, I love your intoxicated perfume. And in those moments, I want to be like you at times. But since that day, I have a single regret." (The kids were in singing in french. I googled the lyrics and translate it. Power of Google)

  • @spnfan124

on the first day your perfum (no translation in english:/ i guess it would be intoxicated) my love, and in that moment i would like to be like you. and since that day i have only one regret. :D hope that helps. google is retarded. but its pretty much the chorus.

  • @spnfan124 ummmmmm the beggining is translated is EXACTLY the chorus, im from quebec :P

  • @jjmoneygame Thanks for letting me know that. Google is being really stupid with me. Again, thanks for heads up.

  • @spnfan124 And, at the beggining there is the french girls band "The Plasticines" :) (I don't know if my sentence is correct !)

  • @Helokittybm Your sentence is fine. Don't worry too much about it. At least its more welcoming to me than the God awful, "SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC" banners I've been seeing in every My Chemical Romance video. But thanks for your information on the French band. Never knew that it was all a French female band. Interesting....

  • @spnfan124 There is also an American children's choir (the West Los Angeles Children's Choir), at the beggining, not just The Plasticines :)

And, what about My Chemical Romance's videos? It's my second favourite band, I never said "Shut up and enjoy the music" in their videos... but you're probably talking about someone else. I hope anyway :)

    Greeting from France !

  • @Helokittybm Actually I was implying of someone else writing it that type of shit. Excuse my cursing. But anyways, its good to know a little background info on that song and the album itself. By the way, I love My Chemical Romance. They're the best. Greetings from America.

  • @meltyourheadaches326 It's basically a translation of the chorus of the song :)

  • @meltyourheadaches326 From the first day

    Your intoxicating scent my love

    And in those moments

I want to be like you at times

    But since that day

    I have a single regret

  • This is, without a doubt, my favorite album by them. No competition :D

  • @LOSINGITx not even Fever?

  • @TheCarmillaShow Fever is the runner up x]

  • All 3 albums are great!!! I like the new material; with this being in one best. The chorus was very creative.

  • I dont understand why everyone looks down on Pretty.Odd. it was phenominal, so what if it was different then the last album? It shows the potential of a true artist. Panic! at the disco just continuees to amaze me <3

  • i don't consider myself a PATD fan but after hearing this song on iTunes, i went hysterical. This is my favorite song from them, so far. There's something real fun about this song that makes me keep it on replay. I like how the beat of the refrains is different from the slow melody of the chorus. It's so.....melodramatic.

  • @miinaluvzramen you should listen to their album a fever You can't Sweat Out, it has that same melodramatic feel to it.

  • I love all three albums with my entire being. So much. :'3 But Pretty. Odd. is my favorite, barely though. They're all just so good~ D: Not complainin' though. :>

  • Am the only one who wasn't disappointed with Pretty. Odd. ?

    Sure feels like it.

They always seem to dazzle me with wonderful music either way so if it doesn't sound the same time each cd I really don't to care.

  • @omgdudelikereallyy I'm not disappointed in Pretty. Odd. I just felt as if Panic! At The Disco changed their style of music that wasn't relevant to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. I like that they were doing Beatles like genre but I am more used to their symbolic references and titles that do not match with songs. I do agree that they dazzle me with good music too. Hell, I like Nine in the Afternoon and That Green Gentleman.

  • @spnfan124 I totally get how you feel. It's just I've seen a lot of people complaining and dissing Pretty. Odd. and it's just like whoa. I don't think that made sense but yeah... (:

  • @omgdudelikereallyy I liked Pretty. Odd.

  • @omgdudelikereallyy I LOVED Pretty. Odd. I think it was better than if they did another album identical to Fever. You know? I think it's more disappointing to have a string of albums that sound the same than it is to have a few albums that are radically different.

  • @dinosawrusx1 It was like the artistic collision of Ryan/Jon's then Brendon/Spencer's paths where they wanted to take the band. Somehow it worked in the end. It's not my favorite of the three albums, but I love it much for what it is, in and of itself. If they all sounded the same, it would do nothing for the band growing and maturing. With R/J having the Young Veins, and B/S keeping Panic!, you can still have those two sounds separately.

  • @BeatleBaby21 Why, yes. I agree with you. I absolutely love TYV. I am not one that harbors any ill will towards R/J for leaving Panic. I'm not exactly sure what you're replying to in my previous comment. However, I know that Pretty. Odd. isn't most people's favorite, but it was mine. I think for that reason I prefer TYV to the new Panic. I personally was extremely disappointed with V/V. But perhaps with time I'll come to accept it. I didn't like TYV until months after it was released.

  • @omgdudelikereallyy I think Pretty. Odd. is amazing!

  • @omgdudelikereallyy i tell you what, man...i don't understand why people didn't like Pretty. Odd. Personally i think it was a hundred times better than AFYCSO--it's like, they are giving off a vibe of happiness and dancing-in-the-streets wonderfulness, but you would rather listen to music about cheating and meaningless sex.

  • @omgdudelikereallyy i tell you what, man...i don't understand why people didn't like Pretty. Odd. Personally i think it was a hundred times better than AFYCSO--it's like, they are giving off a vibe of happiness and dancing-in-the-streets wonderfulness, but you would rather listen to music about cheating and meaningless sex. like, what? (not that i didn't love AFYCSO)

  • @omgdudelikereallyy No I loved pretty odd.. Panic always produces amazing different sounding music thats why I love them so much..

  • @omgdudelikereallyy I Love Pretty. Odd.

I think each of their CDs is different, but still amazing.

This one sounds a lot more like A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, though.

    I ABSOLUTELY Love it.

  • I love panic at the disco. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out is probably one of my most favorite albums ever and then when Pretty Odd came out I was pretty disappointed. This CD makes up for it though. :) Its about time they go on another US tour. JUNE SECOND

  • @OhNoItzEMMA HEY! I was there! The Norva? :D

  • @BeatleBaby21 Yeah. I wanted to go really bad. Because i almost peed myself when i saw they were touring with fun. My mom said I couldn't go though because we went all the way to jersey for a 3 day concert only like a month ago so yeah... We'd have to get a hotel room and apparently we already spent enough on the last concert. Was it good?

  • @OhNoItzEMMA I don't want to rub it in, but it was amazing. Brendon had broken his ankle 5 days earlier and nobody could even tell. There was a brace, but no limp or anything. Foxy and fun. were both spectacular.

  • @BeatleBaby21 i knew cx

  • my favorite CD from them. hands down.

  • i heard this in the mall yesterday and started freaking out.... people stared :)

  • I'm in love with this song, and in love with the new album. Panic is back!

  • i loove itt soo muuch ! buut theey chaangedd thee wordds soo itt waas weeird singinng alonng annd beinng wronng ! :/ ohh well i still loove itt ! <3

  • I miss the hyper-ness and intricate lyrics of "A fever you can't sweat out" But this album is still EVERY good.

Sooo much better then their 2nd CD

    What's that saying.....3rd times the charm! =D

I say get it if your a fan!

  • @kemicalromanc15 I actually love Pretty. Odd. I just look at each album in a different way. They are all very different. Good in their own ways :)

  • Eargasm lol

  • love it....this album is more like a fever you cant sweat out but...not the same... :/ i still love it though...just wish it was more like creepy vibin' and i love the long song titles that have nothing to do with the song haha but PATD<333

  • @WhatsGoinOnShow Same here but at least it doesn't acquire the same type of music as in Pretty Odd.

  • @spnfan124 agreed..this song and ballad of mona lisa sound the most like a fever you cant sweat out if i do say so myself i feel like they are going back , because every song the verses and bridges are like what i like but the choruses are like idk cant explain ahaha but i tried to meet them last night at hottopic but it was sold out -_-

  • Epic! Thanks for posting it! :D

  • I love it, thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this song
