I completely sympathize with you. I'm trying to grow an afro and blow it out, and I've been growing it for 3 months. My regular barber, who is great, made a big error, when he took too much hair off the top and sides, and tapered the back of my neck to far, that my hair doesn't resemble an afro, but more like black nurf with a scalp. I'm growing my hair and won't consider trimming it til October.
