Why the hell did they end it with "I'll think I'll miss this one this year" at the end? Thats not particularly the point, its to show in a roundabout way that you shouldn't forget bout the magic of christmas. waitresses did a far better version and this is from a v. big spice girls fan.

This was on the B-side of the Goodbye single.

Maybe wanted to show a more "rocky" side to their nature by recording this but obviously if you're a band like the Waitresses who got little recognition during your career it's flattering when someone like the Spice Girls cover your songs.

The original is better though.

I disagree. I LOVE this version much better, I dont understand why people say they "butchered it" in a negative way, they have made it bolder and funkier, almost makes the Waitresses version sound mundane.
