do you trace it to start with? just feels like u do with how clean and crisp your initial red lines are, its obvious you know how to paint so don't just assume I'm a 'hater' i love to paint digitally also but i refuse to use any methods that cheat, a.k.a colour balance, tracing, feathering, yada yada.. I'm just curious how u go about this whole process.. hmm i shall view more of your vids!

@7676steve7676 Hi, it wasn't difficult to make a clean sketch for this one because it is a close-up. For some portraits I need to make construction lines, it depends. I have a Cintiq then I don't know how I could cheat ;-)

@StephanieValentin Fair enough, I only say this because there are too many people who will trace, use a colour picker to grab the colours, find every possible way to paint without actually being talented... It's nice to see someone who will put the effort in and learn the skills needed :), also, can I ask what programme you use to capture your painting please as I am about to start my own channel, thanks.
