@SeGaSaTuRn1994 The clean parts do not use the StudioDevil VGA, it's just the raw sound of the guitar (no amp/cab simulation) with a simple delay (I used the bundled one from REAPER). I did not use a pedal, I've pre-defined MIDI messages at certain parts of the song to enable or disable StudioDevil or the delay, so I did not have to bother "switching" between the presets.

@SeGaSaTuRn1994 The distortion is done by the Studio Devil Virtual Guitar Amplifier VST (it's the default setting), and the clean part is - believe it or not :) - just the raw guitar sound + delay. No preamps, EQs or any other effects, just a plain delay.

@hakoller Igen, gyakorolj még többet :) a mesterséges felhangok tiszta és hangos megszólaltatása kizárólag a begyakorolt technikán múlik. Pár hétig én is bénáztam, de aztán berögzült a mozdulat, és most már 99%-ban eltalálom a hüvelykujjam bal oldalával a húrt úgy, hogy az úgy visítson, ahogy kell :-) az sem mindegy persze, hogy hol érsz hozzá, jó metódus pl egy fix hangot fogni valahol az alsóbb fekvésekben, és közeledni-távolodni a húrlábtól a pengetős kezeddel.

@hakoller én mutató, középső és gyűrűs ujjamat használom pengetésre, ilyen sorrendben "priorizálva" :-) elsődlegesen a mutatóval, a hüvelyk és néha a középsővel megtámasztva (kb mintha pengetőt fognál), és ha leamortizáltam a körmöm, akkor jön a középső, szintén a hüvelykkel megtámasztva. Egyél sok gyümölcsöt és/vagy Revalidot, ha nem bírja a strapát a körmöd, esetleg próbálkozz körömerősítő trutyival, bár nekem többet ártott, mint használt. Több tippem hirtelen nincs, de ha kérdésed van, írj.

@DukeDren cheers :) as i've already said in the video info, I use Studio Devil Virtual Guitar Amp, which is a VST/AU audio plugin. I use it with the REAPER DAW software, and it's the default StudioDevil preset, sounds awesome indeed.

just letting you know limp bizkit are in a C# tuning not Drop C#

Since I don't have a Floyd Rose tremolo (or "whammy bar") I had to find a way to make the main theme (intro/chorus) sound good with the huge "drop" or "slide down" or whatever, and it's a lot easier in a drop tuning, that's why I used it. BTW Limp Bizkit uses other tunings beside standard C#, also dropped versions, but you're right about the standard C# tuning of this song. Then again, it's my interpretation :)

3ms? that's pretty good, on the lowest buffer setting i get 5.5ms (still great if you ask me) using the ftp and reaper.

I don't really like guitar rig, for distorted sounds I use the StudioDevil Virtual Guitar Amp, for effects and clean sounds I use Waves GTR or simply the great freeware VST, FreeAmp3. Also, Peavey's ReValver MK3 is a great amp sim.
