I just got two 5 footers like this one. Do I still need a swr meter with the tune able tip or is that just to fine tune them? If any body can help me please do so.
i have a 2 foot firestik II like this one..........and it has AWESOME performance. i talk 20 miles on a consistant basis. it blew my mind! oh, and i use a peaked cobra 29. u cant go wrong with this antenna

I have both 102 whip and the fire stick and they both seem to preform the same.and both have flat swr readings.
you can't go wrong with either one

102 inch whip is better because its bigger and well you can have them in like two ways straight and twisted
