1). No it does not I use repti carpet

2). Leopard geckos have natural eye problems ( well any morph co-recessive or dominant morph of albino does )

i would suggest getting some branches and fake plants for your setup for them to hide in. sterilize them with boiling water before putting them in.

the rocks were maybe 3-5 bucks it was at a petstore. and yes you may put it but there feet might get too soily that they wont climb if yours does. mine didnt
