if your thinking because some 4link systems lift the truck up when they pull, 90% of the pulling trucks around here are Leaf sprung and one lifts up to 16 inches when he's hooked up.

I said 4 link bindings ( a strap that goes from frame to axle to shorten travel of linking system) the straps ARE a SAFETY issue for officals on the track. solid bars use to hold axle in a fixed position is requested at most pulls for safety.

both hitch points were level with each other, nobody was pulling any way but straight.this was a completely fair pull. and as far as whoever loses traction first loses isn't always true, depends on how well you know your truck and how good you can drive. I've seen some pulls where you think they will ever stop and seen them turn it around.

@Mrchevyman208 because chevy parts are cheap, easy to get, and you can get all kinds of adapters, ford parts are more expensive because they actually hold up. It would be extremely expensive to buy parts for a huge ford engine, and not to mention, there's not nearly as many adapters for them, so therefore people buy chevy engines. It's not a matter of which one's better, it's just that Chevy engines are cheaper and more adaptable, and that's a fact.

Duramax was voted one of the top 10 engines on 2001 when in came out, and has 10 years and over 20 billion miles on the same design. Plenty of people with IFS drag racing and sled pulling with no problems. And my rattle was fixed with a TPS relearn. All vehicles will have problems from time to time.
