They do justice to this cover version by Bill Haley. It does not sound like Phil Haley And The Comments from England either. I like the doo wop choir to it.
Do you play it in your set?i will be seeing you on the 13thMarch in Kettering.I am big haley fan.I'll buy ya a pint if i see ya before the show.Cheers.
THIS IS GREAT,,not many bands get this right,,Phil Haley do a great version..

On Skokiann it was all the usual suspects (Beecher, Pompilii, Jones, Williamson, Grande and Bill on percussion, but with Al Rappa on bass guitar.

ctgardner? Is that you Trousers?
I agree, it's one of the better covers but I can't understand why the band hasn't been named.
PS: If it is you, you might also be able to help me clear up a little issue regarding exactly who played what on Skokiaan.
Regards, T.

Christopher Trousers Gardner here...
Hello Trun old chap.
I think it might be the Bel-Airs, although it sounds a bit too good for them.
How are your knees these days?

What-Ho Chris!
It might be the Bell-Airs, but I have a feeling in my knees that it isn't.
Thanks for the Skokiaan info - 'twas as I thought.
Are you gigging at the moment?
