I may be alone on this one, but honestly, I preferred the sensation of isolation this game offers. Games like the Metroid series, Illusion of Gaia, Portal, Silent Hill, Dead Space, they all evoke this lonesome feeling. I've heard from many that SotC would be greatly refined if they added NPCs, but I think that would've removed the one unique thing it had: its atmosphere and tone. This game removed many nuances that videogames usually have, and the contrived artificialness of NPCs is one of them.

absolutely right. Just another example. The new Prince of Persia for ps3, xbox360. Sadly to easy, but! the tone, and atmosphere made it kind of unique. If the gameplay just had followed. The Zelda games as well after my opinion, had a quiality making a really unique atmosphere as well. I just hope that we can have more of games like sotc on the next gen consoles.

The Zelda games should either have more fleshed out NPCs or less NPCs to make up for the current lackluster characters and dialogue. This is why Majora's Mask is easily the best Zelda game. Sure, it may be shorter, it may be smaller, but it's filled to the brim with content, sidequests, genius characterization for its time, and, of course, atmosphere. I may be in the minority here, but it even surpasses Ocarina of Time.

i had shadow of the colossus on my ps2 b4 i sold it all 4 360, I dont regret it but shadow was such a great game, it was and still is a phenominal visual, viceral and epic experience. The Colossus were not innocent they were rather evil and the main character(Wander) had to kill them in order to revive a girl named Mono and this game didn't have an involving storyline but rather a very simple and short storyline but the game style and killing the Colossus was very fun and challenging.

Difficulty out of ten I would say 7 or 8.

Sometimes easy, sometimes hard. Lockating some boss areas was harder than actually fighting against them. You can also find fruits to raise your total HP if you find some bosses too hard. I really recommend to try this game out..

Same goes with Shadow of the Colossus. Twilight Princess day/night, sunrise/sunset and weather changes makes Hyrule propably the prettiest place ever seen in video games.

Actually. The secret garden is worth the time. The beuty of the scenery is well worth the visit. But for those of you who don't have the time to beat the game, or just don't have the patience, you can buy Action Reply Max and put in the codes for maximum health and grip.
