Do not put so much pressure on yourself. Forget the negative comments, as they are from people who are insecure, jealous, and/or ignorant.

I am a huge fan of all your videos. I think I may have seen ALL of your makeup tutorials bc you are so talented and I love your personality. And you are also gorgeous :).

I also like that you are intelligent and articulate, especially with a lot of vapid makeup gurus out there.

전 영어보다 한국말이 더 편해서.. 한글로 써도 되겠죵? 언니가 cl2425 채널을 2009년에 처음 만들고 뷰티동영상 올렸을때부터 소리없이 계속 지켜봐왔던 사람이에요~ 그런데 어느순간부터 일주일에 적어도 2번정도 올라오던 뷰티동영상이 뜸해지더니 어쩔땐 몇달동안 안 올라와서 얼마나 섭섭했는지 몰라요... 언니의 동영상에대해 이러쿵 저러쿵 말 많은 사람들도 있겠지만 언니의 동영상을 보려고 일부터 매일매일 들어와보고 기다리고 또 그렇게 기다림 끝에 올라온 동영상을 보며 기뻐하는 저 같은 사람들도 있기 마련이지 않을까요? 뷰티동영상 올리는 목적이 공유하고자 올리는 것인데.. 좋은일, 취미로 하던게 어느순간 상업적 또는 보여지기위한 목적이다! 라고 비춰지니 저라도 빈정상하고 어느새 동영상 올리는게 스트레스가 될법해요. 에혀. 어느정도 예상은 했지만 이런 이유로 동영상이 안 올라왔었다니.. 답답하고 또 아쉬운 마음이네요..~

Don't feel pressured! I mean, this isn't your job... Your subbies doesn't expect certain things from you/your videos, we're subscribed to you because we like your personality and enjoy watching your videos; whether they come out once a week or once a year! And I don't see why you should feel different about your vlog channel and your beauty channel.. It's just the theme/topic that is different, and nothing else. Think of the beauty channel as your vlog channel, but with makeup! :)

...regular tutorials. But as the subscriber rate goes up, it's only natural that you think that people expect more from you. And when you're stuck in a rut, it's just so hard to get back into routine, especially when the motivation isn't there. What you said applies to so many aspect of life. It really touched me, because that's how I'm feeling at the moment. The more people pay attention to you, the more pressure you feel to live up to their expectations, especially when you had some sort of glory days in the past. It's inevitable to lose yourself somewhere along the road, I think, because the amount of suscribers reflect the quality of your videos. Catalina, people will always have unnatural expectations for people on youtube, they expect everything and more from all makeup gurus, but each guru is different, each has their niche and you have to stick to what you know you're good at.
