@windstorm1000 - Agreed. Rosemary Clooney was probably the most underrated female vocalist of her generation. What have we today that could compare with such a fine vocal stylist as she?
every time I hear this song, I remember Christmases from my childhood. My parents both loved the movie, and my mother would sing this song to us as a lullaby. I still remember it like yesterday, tho she's been gone 4 years ago this month. Some things last last forever
Thanks. there's more to the story - Sometimes whle rocking the baby to sleep, my brother & sister would sneak into the kitchen to raid the fridge. Without missing a beat, Mom would substitute the words "when you're worried & you can't sleep..." with "Paul & Shirley, time for bed. Get out the kitchen & turn off the light"

What a lovely rendition of this song ! I have another one, also by Rosemary Clooney but a bit older, it seems.

amishparadise428 - Thank you so much for posting this fine recording. Do you know when it was recorded? I am guessing some time in the 1970s.

@1mommas Rosemary was the female Sinatra--her phrasing was impeccable.

I think Rosemary is the best female singer of the 20th century--such warmth to her voice, the phrasing--she's got it all. My partner adores her.

I don't care how 'out-of-season' it is. It's never a bad time for Rosemary Clooney.
