  • @waltermourao typo: I've played it once....

    since you've posted this video

    howz the guitar now???

  • @waltermourao hi, i'm buying the pacifica 112j next week.. i'm a beginner.. so can u please tell me what problems should i expect from this guitar.. i'm played it one and i lik the sound but apart from that.. how are the electronics??? does the pickup selector make a noise while switching??... since you've osted this video a year ago.. hows the guitar ow... is it still going outta tune regularly???

  • I got this guitar but it sounds nothing like yours? I'm new to this - can you tell me what setup you are using?

  • Pretty good man, how long u been playing? Ur too good for that guitar, buy a superstrat!

  • @SirComment33 Hi man, thanks a lot. I've already changed guitar. Now I have a wonderful Fender Strat. The real meaning of the video was to show that people can get good sound spending less nowadays. Thanks again for the compliments.

  • Yeah, Yamaha Pacifica is very good stuff for someone looking low price guitar. The best choice!

  • Hello bro, I have been playing acoustic for 2-2.5 years and want to get my hands on an electric. My budget is not very high, so will this guitar sound good paired with a ZOOM processor and an amplifier. I have read in some reviews that the sustain of this guitar is not good. Is it really so?? Please tell me the pros and cons of this guitar. Thanks for the review.

  • @indro95 Sorry for the late answer man. My first FX pedal was a Zoom 505II. I got to tell you, is not the best pedal in the world but you can get some tone of it, you just have to dig it enough. The Yamaha has its issues about sustain, but is not that bad. The worst thing is the tuning pegs that are cheap, but you can change them easily. The pros are countless, specially the price. The sound you can check it out in the video. Hope that I've helped you.

  • @waltermourao Thanks for replying mate, but I somehow got a squier bullet although I didn't have any plans to do so. Actually I couldn't even try out the guitars due to some limitations. Some other person(much more experienced than me) chose it for me. Anyways, it's pretty good for the price and with it I also purchased a KORG AX5G processor. So that works well for me, atleast for now. Do u have some reviews about this setup??

  • What kind of amp do you have? :]

  • @DaoK808 Hi man, I use a Behringer V-ampire. It's a powerful amp, but is not like a valve one. In the video I used amp's virtualization with PODxt.

  • Hi i've got this guitar it's great but i think it's really hard to palm mute on. I was thinking of removing the middle pick up because it seems to just get it the way. Any ideas?

  • @Gavin66627 Have you tried playing in a guitar with 2 humbuckers and a fixed bridge? Like a Les Paul style? Try it out and compare it.

  • Hey I wanna know about the action of this Yamaha ? I'm a beginner so I will stick with the lower one. Is this a good one for me ?

  • @chitrung92 I do not recommend lower action on guitars, yet I've used it a lot. Nowadays I'm using higher action and heavier strings. It'll suck at the beginning but you'll see that in a week you get 10 times better.

  • Awsome Sound And You playing Really good !!!

did you use any effects ?

  • @navekeinan Hi man, all the effects that I used were from the PODxt. It's a great gear.

  • you are awsome brother... i have the same guitar but im halving trouble with the amp.. what kind of amp were you using? i want an amp but i dont know which one to get... what would you recommend? thnx.

  • @assasinon1209 Hi man, thanks for the compliments. I had some problems playing with it live on amps. Sometimes when the sound is too loud you got to take care with the treble. It can cause some bad feedback. In the recording I was using the POD, with virtualization of amps. This way it's difficult to get feedback. Anyways is a nice guitar!

  • Very nice guitar and play. What's the name of the second song which starts at 0:46?

  • @Sirsilent05 Hello, that's my attempt to play the solo of "Tie your mother down" by Queen! Long live Brian May!

  • Hey Guy! .. I never play electronic guitar.

Now i decided to buy this one "YAMAHA PACIFICA 012 BL"

So Please tell me what should i need to buy with that ?

I don't know which sets need for electric guitar

And this one is not bad ? Right ? I had chosen it , because it is so cheap.

Give me some advices Please .. Thanks xD

  • @neverlandstories Hi man, as you can see the yamaha guitars are pretty good for the price you pay. I think they're the best you can get at this cost range (U$150-250). What you'll need now would be a good cable, picks and a guitar strap. Then you can choose from an amplifier or a effect pedal (like POD) with headphone output, so you can hear you playing or record yourself. That's up to you, I'm sure that in any musician store they'll give you the best option depending on how much you'll pay.

  • look like fender style...

  • hey i'm a 13 year old kid.... i am an intermediate in acoustic... i wanted to switch to electric but i am thinking which guitar to buy.... is pacifica 012 a good guitar for a beginner like me? will be greatful if you reply... thx

  • @noelthegr8 I have a Pacifica too dude..It's the best choice for a beginner to an intermediate..go for it! :)

  • @noelthegr8 Hello man, sorry about the delay to answer you question! I can tell you that for beginners this is a wonderful guitar. I'd dear to say that is a good guitar for pro guitarists too!

  • hi i have been playing for 3 months..i wanted an electric guitar..can i go for this?please reply.. thanks :)

  • @guitarguy3101 hey man, probably this is the most recommended guitar for you. Is a "fat strat", which means it has 2 single coils and a 1 humbucker. It's a cheap, in cost not in quality, guitar and sounds great. Go for it!

  • @waltermourao awwrite!!thanks :)

  • Sounds great! Better guitar than I thought.

  • Great playing and great choice of guitar!!

  • @messybluesboy

Without a doubt the best guitar you can buy. There really is no need to spend more. :)

  • Hey thanks for the video...can you tell me your amp settings please??

  • hey man!!can you teach the BEAT IT solo?? You play it too cool!! Btw,did u check the new fender mustang amp series??I think its cool....

  • @dilipkurt Hi man, how you're doing? Thanks for the compliments. About the amp, if you know any video about here on youtube, send it to me. I'm looking for a good amp!

  • @waltermourao

    yeah......sure pal!

  • @waltermourao ay man, nice job. im wantin this guitar now. lol. if ur lookin for a great amp, get a line 6 spider IV. they are amazing! great sound and great effects built in with the combo amp! wonderful price too!

  • man I LOVE UR 'BEAT IT' SOLO!!!!! u are great and thanks for the reply...

  • does it go out of tune while playign with whammy bar for more than 3-4 seconds?

  • @darkwrath429 hi man, in the first day it will come very easily off tune. But once the string is adapted, it stay quite well on tune. That's the big problem of the guitar, tuning. For the rest is a very good guitar.

  • @waltermourao what do you mean? you gotta tune the guitar more often than others?

  • just got this guitar and i've been having trouble with the wammy bar, any suggestions, maybe i'm doing it wrong?

  • @ericaw004

elaborate your troubles, dude!!!the tuning goes off??

  • @dilipkurt i'm having trouble actually connecting it to the guitar and using it. i screw it in but its really stiff and doesn't move even when i unscrew it some.

  • @ericaw004

okay..................its not moving even when you unscrew it a bit???try unscrewing it to almost the edge........if its not working,go to the shop you bought it

  • Thanks great vid and nice playing.

Every PAC 012 video i watch is being played clean and not with a drive so i started to wonder is there any point getting this guitar if its not good for metal/rock.

Looking at this , its perfect , thanks :D

Getting one is blue or black this september

  • @ARKILLER95 Hi man, sorry to answer so late. I hope that you've gotten your guitar. As you can see on the video, this guitar is very versatile. The humbucker on the bridge gives you all you'll ever need in a good metal and rock.

  • @waltermourao Thanks , yes i have it now , and i am very pleased with the guitar.

  • this is the ultimate beginner guitar. but the pac112j is even a little bit better in my opinion

  • Thanks a lot man!!I bought it yesterday and it rocks!!But the amp ga-15 was kinda crappy!! Is POD good for me??

  • @dilipkurt Hi man, in my opinion the POD is a respected hardware that is interesting for every guitar player to have. As I don't have money to buy all the pedals and amps that the pod virtually gives to me, I really think is a nice piece of hardware.

  • @waltermourao

    thank you!!

  • hey man i want to start playing electric guitar and want to buy the exact same one. I have never played guitar before, I do not want to buy an acoustic , my budget is quite tight I'm planning to buy this guitar just to jam with my friends no rough stuff. How will it do for me?

  • @KetiNgSaaG I'm playing guitar now for about almost ten years!!! God, time flies... Anyways, this guitar is serving me very well and I have nothing to complain about it, except for the tuning pegs that are cheap, but that you can change. I know people who started playing directly on electric guitar and nowadays play better than me, that doesn't mind if you practice hard. I really recommend this guitar also 'cause is very well done and finished besides the good sound that you can get.

  • Thanks a lot,dude!!You,the best!

  • hey, man!Im a lead guitarist and Im about to buy this guitar this coming week.I'm wondering whether its good for me.I play punk rock, grunge rock, blues etc.Is it suitable for me?And the cost of it is 10000 Rs i.e 175$.The amp is Ga-15 and costs 4500 Rs - 100%.IS it worth for gigs?

  • @dilipkurt Hey man, first of all, for all the kinds of stuff that your planning to play, that's definitely the guitar that you want (of course for the price that you're paying). The setting of the hardware is very versatile so you can play whatever you want. But you've asked me about gigs, and that's the only little problem about the guitar... it goes off tune very easily. That's why I recommend you to buy some good strings and play hard for a couple of hours before a gig.

  • Dude...u rock....I am planning to buy the same....But tell me....I learnt a lot on the acoustic....I heard the Electric is easier to play....Is that so?

  • @papan1990 Hey man, sorry for the late answer. Electric guitars usually are easier to play because of the thinner neck and the lighter strings. I've also started playing on the acoustic guitar, which I play everyday. But I recommend you to try out. Firstly you find strange but then is addictive.

  • @waltermourao Yeah...thnx for the answer....But I kinda' like the sound of Bass more....so I think I will stick to the bass now....BTW....do u happen to know any good basses...?

  • @papan1990 Sorry man, but I'm not an expert in basses. Although I've seen good Ibanez stuff, try checking them out.

  • got the same guitar. i love your sound what are your effects/amp ?

    keep them rockin'!

  • @Elvinv Hello man, I was playing around with some presets of my POD xt, it was connect directly to the computer, so everything was digitally recorded. I don't remember wich amp I was simulating on each music, sorry. But anyways the POD is quite a hardware.

  • I was wandering, I'm about to buy my first electric guitar, so is it better to buy an amp or pod and connect it to computer? Is there any delay when you are playing trough PC?

  • @IgorDacevic92 Hello man, it depends on what are you planning to do with your guitar from now on. If you want to start making gigs, or start a garage band I'd suggest you to buy an amp, maybe a line 6 that comes with infinite tones e simulated amps. Otherwise if you want record your stuff spending little, practice by your own with head phones and maybe later rent a rehearsal room and bring under your arm your favorite tones and presets, you should probably get yourself a pod!

  • @IgorDacevic92 Ahm, and there's no delay when your playing in the computer, obviously you must have a reasonable hardware configuration.

  • hey man, awesome video. i was just wondering are u playing straight through ur pc, or are u using an amp? if you are playing straight through ur pc, what hardware and software are u using to do so? thanks

  • @peteradamson Hey man, I was playing directly to the notebook. I was using the PODxt that comes with a usb connection to the computer, this way it becomes a sound board. It's pretty nice.

  • how do u use the metronome?

  • I used the one that comes within Logic Studio 9. It's pretty easy, otherwise you can use a standard one that you can find in any musical store.

  • what's the song for 0:48 and 2:06? Kinda cool!

  • Do You Have Tabs For 1:29 ??? Please, Its Bueatiful! Nice guitar too!

  • Hey, thanks. That was the intro of "here comes the sun" by The Beatles. You can find it easily if you google the song name after tabs. Have fun!

  • You can acoustic capo on an electric guitar??? I never tried to do that fearing the extra tension might hurt the neck.

  • I don't think it can hurt the neck, I was watching Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley and he was using on a Telecaster.

  • @cossatotfalls just search for it... The song's name is The Beatles- Here comes the sun....

  • Excellent!!! Your playing technique gas grown well my friend!! Someday I'll play like that too, If the "bytes" around my life don't devour me!! LOL!!!

  • Hei Luizzeross, thanks for subscribing. I own it at all to you that borrowed me the first guitar (by the way also the worst) I've ever played, the wonderful TONANTE!

  • Wonderful and also... CURSED!!! LOL!!

  • Great playing my friend. This has definately made me think about buying this guitar. I had an ibanez gio but the cord input is faulty so i'll have to take it back to the shop. Your yamaha sounds very similar, though I like your tone better.

  • Thanks man, about the playing I still got lots to learn, there's some serious playing out there in the youtube hehehe. I compare some guitars when I bought this one, I compare some Ibanez, Epiphones and Squiers in a price range until 200 dollars. The Yamaha won in my opinion.
