yeah i think he'll get between 40 and 50. If he was on a first or second line, he would have had 70+ points this year. Of course Canucks have too much depth right now. Excited for the future tho. ;)

Look to see him start to pile up points in 2-3 years. For now, he's on pace for 40. Pretty good as a rookie on a third line. Maybe not an instant win like Doughty, or Stamkos, but he'll definately have a future as an offensive player in the league.

Finally he will play for the Canucks this season. Whether he starts in Manitoba or Vancouver it doesn't matter. He will get some NHL action this season. Can't wait, he's going to be our number 1 center in 6-7 years. Future Captain also.

in my opinion the canucks have done a good job with his training and waiting till he is developed enough but i dont think that he is going to have an  effect on the nhl right away but the canucks are lucky that they have the sedins that are fucking ripping ass so they can afford to wait and eventually he will becAUME a superstar

Kyle Beach? If so, I completely agree. He's definitely a talented player, but unfortunately he's had concussion problems and there have been some questions about his attitude. Hodgson, in my opinion, is a STEAL at 10th overall. I'm not a Canucks fan but I'll be happy to cheer him on in Vancouver.

Totally impressed seeing him at the World Juniors highest scoring player in the tourney, assistant captain, named to 1st team allstars, gold medal winner, etc. He was just so good on the PK, faceoffs, PP and showing leadership on the ice. McGuire and Mckenzie on TSN said he was the best player and leader in the tourney for Canada, Tavares(who I'm a fan of) was too overrated. Can't wait for next years wj, he will be wearing the C for sure.

you were bang on, i actually think hodgson was better than tavares. always did smart things with the puck and played the PK on team canada and was pat quinns first choice as the forward on the 3 on 5 kill. he does everything well and is a great guy on and off the ice. wish the leafs had him, but glad happy for vanouver for gettin him

I'm a leafs fan but I have to say kudos to the canucks. Hodgson is an awesome pickup. I personally think he's just a step behind Stamkos and Filatov and a few steps ahead of Wilson, Boedker, Bailey, etc. It's great to see a player who's going to be this good play for a Canadian team.
