It is absolutely amazing to me how many driver's don't know that an intersection becomes a 4-way stop during a power outage. It's crazy. You have to be very careful because I've seen so many people just blaze through these intersections when the power is out. Beware of the idiot drivers....they kill innocent people every day.
NNOOoooOOOOooOOoOo.... another subaru... what's the world coming to?! It's like people see a little rain drop/snow/wind and all of the sudden they forget how to drive...
In general, controlled intersections tend to actually get more efficient when the stop lights quit working. Since it's a stated fact that neither driver yielded at the intersection, this incident is simply a result of careless driving and not really a function of the intersection or prevailing conditions.
I agree. But for some reason this winter, either through inattentiveness, or just not caring, the number of these types of accidents took a big jump and more than likely a record has been set. Sort of like the record number of CO2 poisonings we had in the December outage.
This is the only accident that happened during this outage. It was worse with the December 14th windstorm. A lot of people became dumb drivers at those intersections. Scary!
o, i thought that was wat this footage was from, my bad. during that time, i was seriously thinking about setting up my camera taping an intersection to just wait for the accedent lol
