I did not know so many African American's had kidney diseases and were on dialysis! We do need to reduce that rate. We need to be more careful and aware of these things. Does smoking make it worse on people who have it and are on dialysis? What can you do to prevent it?

History 2010-18 African Americans are those most affected by this disease. The information provided in this video was very useful and informal to myself, being a border line diabetic.

  • i think this is very useful information. Diabetes is increasing in the African American Community and therefore it needs to be addressed.

  • This is great information! Sheila Shaw suffered from kidney failure due to Lupus. She now inspires others to live their lives to their fullest despite living with chronic illnesses. Kidney Disease is a serious issue right now, especially among African Americans. Good job!
