PITBULL attack leaves pet owner heartbroken

63-year-old Beverly Valentino stepped out of her townhouse with her dog Bella, setting out for their usual outside time when a large PITBULL appeared With the apparent intent of getting hold her 13-pound Maltese-Poodle.

The Malte-poo ran back into the house for cover, but the pitbull gave chase.

Dried blood stains on a rug mark the spot where a vicious dog took the life of a pet Valentino got when her mother passed away.

  • @TheWarloghe So a, "cream colored pit bull" that was unrestrained, roaming with no owner present, and apparently so large it stood at that dog owner's chest (which is at least 36" tall) attacked and killed her dog.

    THAT is one LARGE dog.

The only breeds that match that description is either a Great Dane or a Dogo.

  • I am not surprised so many idiots want to rush out and buy their next lawn ornament or couch potato. A lot of people know nothing about dogs and some of the first dogs they get are well known "friendly" breeds. This is exactly what happens when you dont do your reaserch on an animal before you get it and then when it becomes a problem you get rid of it. Play biting is not a "lab thing" its something that should have been discouraged as a puppy.

  • The only reason Pits are even on that list is because of all the ghetto black people over-breeding them for money, and not raising them right.

  • Man you are doing good work. I gotta say this doesn't surprise me. I look at my dog sleeping with his kitten and I know it's because of how I raised him that he turned out so sweet.

  • So they will put Lab in the list of ''evil breeds'' too ? XD

I'm agree with you guys .

I also have to say that people need to look for the dog they need .

  • ....dog would make the best family dog and she honestly told them a pitbull.

  • Not surprised. If we're going to generalize breeds than all in all labs are more dangerous than pitbulls. Since pits aren't dangerous. And to the lady who said that surprised her cause they're usually playful, no that's just what you've been told. I volunteered at an animal shelter where a family came in looking to adopt a lab or golden retriever cause they were told those make good family dogs. The staff member honestly told them that they don't make good family dogs.so they asked her what...

  • THEY HAVE TO KEEP SINGING THAT SONG, THAT WAY THEY CAN CASH COW THE DANGEROUS DOG ACTS! SO STUPID!

  • omaha is about an hour away from me and they still hold the muzzle and leash law for pitbulls, im sure labs can still roam free tho

  • No surprise in the least. If it's got teeth, it can bite.

  • No surprise in the least. If it's got teeth, it can bite.

  • "A dog's behavior results in how the owner raises the animal."

    No shit, Sherlock! XD

  • @gir908922 I agree with that to an extent. I worked at a shelter and saw a few old dogs that were put there because their owner passed away. They were sweet at first but without their owner they became confused and aggressive one was a purebred black lab another was a hound mix & the last one was a husky mix dont assume because a dog is aggressive that the owner mistreats it i know plenty of people that foster and adopt "problem dogs" and they get so much crap because ppl think they abuse them.
