I used the tempo delay that comes with SONAR 8.5. It automatically matches the delay to the tempo

the problem with sonar 8 that its need a very fast computer thats why somtimes i use cubase for bigger projects.

LoL sloppy! ill have to look into sonar. looks like it has a lot of tools for manipulating sound. looks pretty good to me. nobody i know uses it. ive definitely heard the name cakewalk tho. i know its not "cheap", especially with roland behind em now.
