@Gl2xnt intake and exhaust both bought on ebay. installed the intake myself. had a muffler shop install the exhaust for 80 bucks but labor rates will vary.

@saturnsolar i never got the car dyno'd so i don't know exactly. i got the exhaust first which freed up some hp for the top end. then when i got the intake, it just seemed to be a slight bit more torquey. but they can't be that much of a difference.

what technique did you use to downshift?

@kevkid06 5th to 4th was just kicking the gas to match the revs, going into 3rd and 2nd i did heel toe. really light on the brakes though since i wasn't really going that fast and didn't need to brake hard.

not even close. genesis coupe is not only rwd, but shares the same 4b11t block as the evo x. hyundai actually developed that motor. the motor in the genesis has slightly different internals and a slightly smaller turbo. capable of high 14's stock. with bolts on and a tune capable of 13's. with upgraded turbo and internals easily capable of 10's. i could make it a 12 second car with less than 3 g's put into it. the genesis coupe is complete out of the civic's league in terms of performance.

Yeah, I agree with belizetj. The Fujiti CAI and catback exhaust do make it sound more like the Si. I was even impressed with how fasted the tach got up to 6000ish. Not back for an SOHC! Hey, but what catback do you have? Is it custom?

@pinoysrule88 it's just a catback I got off of 2bay for 250 shipped. 2.5" stainless steel going to a huge resonator that goes to the muffler. I'm debating cutting off the resonator so it's louder but then again the resonator is what keeps it sounding clean without any zip crackle pop raspiness. but yeah.. with only 140 hp stock, having close to full tank definitely makes it slower.. i'll try to record a new vid later on :D

@iamElijah If u cut off the resonator it will sound raspy as hell, you wont be able to stand it. Leave it on or get a louder exhaust like a skunk2.

@belizetj that's what i was thinking. i like how it's clean without any raspiness right now. the greddy ti-c has no resonator and it sounds pretty damn clean and good. but that muffler is much higher quality. i'll probably just leave it. i'm planning on getting a genesis coupe at the end of the year anyways haha
