I first heard "For Such a Time as This""on Touch By A Angel"" over 10 years ago and the LORD has really allowed that song to stick to my heart and He continues to use that song in a powerful way in my heart and life.Even though when I first heard it I didn't know that it was Wayne Watson's song,I am really starting to enjoy his music now.I grew up and I still am a Steve Green fan,now I am becoming a Wayne Watson fan as well.May God continue to use you profoundly Wayne!!!
I grew up listening to this song and its amazing to me how everytime I hear it I think of being a little girl, sitting in my living room and listening to the radio with my mother and sisters.
Jesus is truly a Friend of a wounded heart...thank you Wayne Watson once again for writing and singing such a powerful anthem about our Savior's mercy and love for all mankind...Jesus truly meets us where we are!
@zdaddyt58 not sure I think it was around 1986 or 87 thats when the cd was out that this concert was promoting. One of my favorite Wayne Watson songs.
this is so wild seeing this video footage! i don't have the cd watercolour ponies, but i got how time flies as this song is on that one too! i thought it was on home free, but i get the albums mixed up - love 'em all lol. i went to hear wayne perform just after he put out the album a beautiful place and he was really great - still have the pics of us sitting on the church stage together after the performance! lol

he did make a version of him singing only to the piano. it was released in 2005. great version, i like it better than the original actually. seems like he has more passion in it.

I think it was taken in Decatur, AL around 1986 or 87 at Point Mallard Concert Hall. I was saved at that concert by that song!!!!!
