I have a Defender 110, owned a 90, and my wife has a RR Sport Supercharged. I also own Toyota FJ40, FJ45, FJ60, FJ Cruiser and a TLC Icon Baja Edition and more.

I'll say this: if you want to go out and explore the outback, buy a Land Rover or a Land Cruiser. If you want to return home from the outback and do it all again someday, just buy a Land Cruiser.

I'm an American Trucks fan BUT in my country " Saudi Arabia" and in the whole middle east TOYOTA in general is the most soled cars and highest prices when it comes to used cars simply coz they rarely breakdown. They are also the most dependable cars "still many ppl. prefer NISSAN Patrol coz of low weight on the sand" to take on an off rode trip especially when you decide to go to desert.
