I owned the 1996 Hyundai Tiburon from 2 fast 2 furious movie, it was outside tec's garage in the movie. 360 horsepower, turbo. Carbon fiber hood, spoiler and more. Custom enkei rims. It was extremely quick, I beat vettes often.
Tiburons are no joke, but you have to make the outside look good when upgrading. When you get the engine to atleast 350 horsepower or more then you need to work on the outside as well, because stock they are not that good looking ill admit. Mine looked like a GT porsche

both engines are turboed. not one is running two. u dont have to mess with anything after putting a turbo on. only if u wanna do alky injects and hardcore stuff like that. most tibbys can hold a charge with the stock block. well up to about 20 pounds. no need for a new fuel system. or even an upgrade

Yeah but the stock injectors aren't gonna flow enough fuel for Turbo and once you bump the injectors then you need at least a piggyback at minimum to tune the car just so it can idle - never mind the whole RPM/Load range. Notice it was the dyno guy that said that. Perhaps they had it tuned before they brought it in [Street tune?]

Tiburon motors I'm sure with extensive work can reach 600 before the wheels, not much more after that. If you noticed, 10.9 for only 600 horse power is extremely fast. I would imagine having another motor in the back, with equal power, helps weight distribution and of course being AWD makes it even faster.
that's a cool burnout at the end... it looks like his rear engine is in 1st, while his front engine is in reverse.... so the net motion is stationary (except steering adds some rotation).

@iPvvntNoobs "hyundai" is something to fuck with. no other idiot company would put two engines. 2 transmissions in a car. thats the most absurd thing i've ever seen in a car. keep it simple guys, do it like my family. corvettes and camaros. theyll fuck any modified ricer or toyota off the line,, stock. and with under $5000 in work they will be near supercar, with simple ecm/pcm tunes.

I wonder if those motors were left stock and just slapped the snails on. I know the Beta I 2.0l can take at least make 7-8 psi worth of boost on stock internals no problem.

I would assume that they would need to as well, but the guy mentioned they didn't have to tune the motors when they were on the dyno.

Yeah but the stock injectors aren't gonna flow enough fuel for Turbo and once you bump the injectors then you need at least a piggyback at minimum to tune the car just so it can idle - never mind the whole RPM/Load range. Notice it was the dyno guy that said that. Perhaps they had it tuned before they brought it in [Street tune?]

Tiburon motors I'm sure with extensive work can reach 600 before the wheels, not much more after that. If you noticed, 10.9 for only 600 horse power is extremely fast. I would imagine having another motor in the back, with equal power, helps weight distribution and of course being AWD makes it even faster.

I FUCKING knew it! When I was a kid (about 25 years ago) I wanted to design cars and I had an idea to put two engines in a vehicle but guess what happened? Everyone I looked up to for recognition just gave me a pat on the head and told me I was full of shit and that my ideas sucked and wouldn't work, politely of course. Man if only I had followed my dream, I could be working in a mechanics shop doing custom work, instead of working as a security guard. Hey, thanks a lot mom and dad.
