Um, arguments are really anooying, so hows about we just stick with: Lady Gaga and Kanon Wakeshima are both talented, they both have an odd style, and they're both just plain awesome. The only difference is that Kanon plays cello and sings in Japanese. Are we happy now?

Er, not to add to the Comment fight going on, but I think Lady Gaga and Kanon Wakeshima both have talent and ingenuity. My only problem with Lady Gaga, and I suppose this isn't technically her fault, though she could fix it easily, is that everyone thinks she's the first one to be as eccentric or crazy as she is. I mean, Japan kinda went nuts over 20 years before Lady Gaga. I only want her to tell her fans, "Hey, Japan did this first, stop saying Japan's copying me." Just my two cents. =)

I love singing japanese songs like this during a windy, cold front (38 degrees) under tall trees far into my backyard under a bright full moon. Lady Gaga uses voice changers in a lot of her songs, as for Kanon make slight messups.... what she does is much more complex than what lady gaga does. Don't even TRY to tell me Lady Gaga is more complex... I'm a musician of many years I know what I'm talking about. Also, Kanon PLAYS her own music... Lady Gaga has a band play her's while she stands there and "sings." Don't YOU talk until you have the facts. I have mine.

@yamibalus No, you actually don't. Lady Gaga doesn't only "stand there" and sing. She also has to dance and play the piano at the same time all while keeping a tune. She does a pretty good job of it as well. Kanon, on the other hand, only has to stand there and sing. Then, when she goes to play the cello, she doesn't sing at the same time. Her vocals aren't as powerful as Gaga's either. I too, am a musician. I've been playing the violin for 8 years already so I also know some things about music.

I mean aside from Japanese and English both types of music are different in their own way. Japanese music is NOTHING like American music. Both artists may sometimes have weak or strong vocals too. It just goes with the voice. Like when a girl with a high has weak vocals, one with a darker would have stronger vocals.

Being a Little Monster (fan of LG), I was extremely provoked and agitated by this comment, and replied trying to defend Lady Gaga.
