This piece has inspired me and anchored me as a New Englander since first hearing it as background to an IMAX movie called "New England Time Capsule" at the Mugar Omni Theater in Boston many years ago. Great music.

Heard the Boston Pops for the first time ever last week at the closing ceremony of a large conference I was in Boston. They started with this piece.
Searching for the CD everywhere now but it's difficult since I don't live in the US.
