  • "Half an hour with a G.I. has given me more than you have in five years." lmao!

  • only sue could make Schindler's list funny!!! she is so pretty in a wig...my fave is when she goes blonde in the 80's no doubt people will disagree!!! 'parifin? as if war time britain isn't dangerous enough!!!'

  • I am not surprised they got two series of this, a royal special, and the series remaking the good life, they balance off each other so well, the upper-class narscism against the working class wit, probably helped there's no romantic thoughts, even when they're (as often they are) drunk.

I'd love to see them take on the major chefs, you know like Heston, Hugh and Jamie.. see who drives who mad.

Or them take on the food of the movies... or a world tour (ok I'm rambling)

  • Diarrhea Dan's Birthday Surprise

  • I got kind of turned on when Giles licked Sue's leg ;)

  • Somehow, I don't think that Snail Centre Surprise will catch on as a new Quality Street flavour...

  • "When I'm making soup pain isn't usually one of the ingredients" hahahaha

  • this was not good for my Molluscophobia....

  • "They may look like Buzz Lightyear and his accountant..." Brilliant line.

  • HAHA! When Sue stuffs her face with the canned pineapple..

    "I love America." XD

  • @Runrome sue wasn't born into middle class and went to state schools actually.

And I don't get how people search to watch a programme and then slate it.

If you don't like it.. Well surely you're not so unintelligent that you don't know what the x on the top of the screen is for

  • @tiershadarling14 you half wit

I wouldnt know what shit I was watching and be able to comment on it(in an informed point ofview) untill I had watched it through to the end. Sue is a bbc prototype android she went to Oxford and should know better then behaving like a decedent moron

  • Sue: COOOAFF-ee lol

  • Mmm pineapple chunks <3

  • It was not funny at the time! My family would have died for a tin of corned beef! Oh that tin of quality Street brings back memories!

  • It was not funny at the time! My family would have died for a tin of corned beef!

  • It's sad and somehow hilarious that during the snail bit the soundtrack from "Schindler's list" is playing...

  • So many people seem to get so hung up on Giles's table manners, and yet I never noticed it until they pointed it out.

  • Poor shela and duglas!! ),;

  • I love the instructions for americans at the beginning, they are SO true!!!

  • @Purplefizzgirl I've actually read the whole book online, it's very well written, explained, thoughtful and quite funny in a cute way.

  • @whowantsabighug

Could you tell me where, I've tried to find it, but could only find extracts

  • @Purplefizzgirl armchairgeneral (dot) com /forums /showthread. php ?t=106429

  • "Diarrhea Dan's Birthday Surprise? ... Cake's off anyway, so, don't feel you've got to, uh, go ahead with that."

  • would you like some coafee

  • This is just so funny. Sue eating the grass.

  • Oysters versus Grass lol

  • Did he call the Yanks "Buzz Aldrin and his accountant"? That's mad funny :)

  • The American etiquette guidebook was kind of cute

  • I see one episode of this series, and think it is the funniest thing ever -- nothing can be more hilarious. But then I see the next episode. This is a reality/cooking show, and the two hosts are funnier than any two sitcom actors.

  • Best Line I heard from churchill was when some Lady (forgot her name said) "If I were your wife I would put poison in your coffee" to which Churchill replied "Madam if I were your husband I would drink it"

  • @A16AdamWalker thats so funny.. XD

  • @A16AdamWalker That was Lady Astor.

  • @GoblinsFriend Ah Thanks for letting me know, I thought it was something like that but couldn't for the life of me remember. Thanks :-)

  • @A16AdamWalker The other one I like (again with Lady Astor) was when she met him at a party and said 'Mr. Churchill, you are drunk!' to which he replied 'Yes madam, and you are ugly, but I will be sober in the morning.'

  • @crippmeister Lol, yeah I heard that one, although Churchill was actually speaking to Bessie Braddock, a Labour Member of Parliament.

Churchill did supposedly say to Lady Astor though, that having a woman in Parliament was like having one intrude on him in the bathroom, to which she retorted, "You’re not handsome enough to have such fears"

  • @A16AdamWalker Even better one! Same Lady:

    Crazy Lady:Prime Minister you're drunk!

Winston:And you Madame are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober.

So much more eloquent than"Your Mum!"

  • "Let's see if these DUDES like it." lol.

  • Half an hour those G.I have given me more than you have given me in five years lol

  • Not Sheila And Douglas!!

  • The forager man seems like a really friendly

    soft-spoken man :)

  • no wonder churchill was such a fat bastard!!! I hate him more than than ever!

  • @KangaKucha when i found out what churchill ate, i felt like he cheated his nation and my grandma however won;t accept a bad word about him

  • @fiddleandcatz well, I know he is a hero in the eyes of many, but hear me out, this man talked down to canadians, australians, etc as parts of the empire, not as indepedent dominons as they were, and yet was all friendly and such to the Americans, who lets face it, were TRAITORS to the crown he loved so much!!! He also looked down on many people dreams of trying to create a better soceity, aka Labour and the socalists. I;m sorry, I can;t love a man like that for long.

  • @Runrome My word! your grammar is deplorable, before you decide to insult anyone learn some basic sentence structure and spelling.

  • @Runrome Seriously, what's your problem?

How is you, complaining and bitching about how hard life is going to achieve anything?

If you're so concerned with the starving masses, go and do something about it instead of being a bitch.

  • @RedRoosterRoad

get a fucking life mate before being an utter cock we all entitled to an opinion more so considring the bbc is publicly funded and has a remit to inform and educate

  • @Runrome Like I said before, if you're so concerned with the starving masses go and help them instead of complaining about it.

  • This is hilarious!

  • I love the green walls and furniture in that house. Green's my favourite colour.

  • @Runrome alright calm down!

  • @Runrome wow... someone sounds jealous!

  • I Luv Sue and Giles. SO funny!

  • i love sue's face when she takes a nice crunchy bite of that crab apple...YUM

  • @luciaj1107 with added insect larvae
