Marquez won the "emotional victory" (reinforced by the crowd and both teams' reactions) while Manny won the real, objective victory. boxing is scored on rounds. jmm won clearly won 4 big rounds. the other 8 rounds could have gone either way so u have to go to compubox to check who get the better of whom? and pac won on compu box department also pac is the champion so if a round is close you have to give it to the champion. so those 8 rounds goes to pac and 4 rounds goes to jmm. one thing also that i observe,marquez is really 100% ready coming to fight,mentally,physically...less mistake during the fight.....but i cant say the same thing to pacquiao,he doesnt look like the pac i know,his focus and concentration was not in the fight...but im not making an excuse i just think pac could have done better..wrong gameplan??distractions before the fight???...i dont know what cause his poor showing last sat...one thing is for sure,even if they fight 100x it will still end close.

bro looks like you had a change of heart,i watch the fight again also,i bought a pirated cd which have a hbo copy,i watch it in slow motion round after round..i too see that pac hit marquez more,not as great as marquez hit pac but pac hit marquez more specially with the counter right hand..6-6 after watching it again,but just like you i can give a round to pac or a round to marquez cause it was that close,but after watching it again pac landed more.but if they gave it to marq i wont mind at all

Here u are creating the Pacman myth again. To remind u Mayweather adapts and he could fight the same exact way JMM did but quicker and more powerful. Did you hear Pacman say, he could not get off because JMM was waiting to counter punch him. Can Pacman be better adapted to what FMW does during the fight? Finally a video with somebody who knows how to score with honesty...I too thought that Marquez won at first but after watching the replays if you really score the fight for what it really was I had it also 8-4 Pacquiao and if you wanted to be generous just for the sake of the clean punches by Marquez you could have given 2 extra rounds for that and it would end up in a draw which could have been fair too but lets be honest in a trilogy nobody wants a draw as a result so of course the champ wins

1. There was Aggressiveness it was not effective.
2. HBO is extremely biased, so unless you watched it with the commentary off, your going to be as well.
3. If your going to bring up Compubox, then why don't you bring up the first 2 fights? If that's what your going on then Marquez won them both.

Good video. It was a close fight. but Marquez was walking backwards the entire fight. Pacman was the agressor. And at the end of the day Pacquiao landed more punches. Good fight by Marquez. But not good enough when youre going to TAKE the title from a champion. Then you have to dominate a bit more than that. and try walking forward a bit.

I scored the fight 115-113 for Manny. I scored it again trying to give rds for JMM, I changed the 5th for JMM and scored it a draw. The 5th was a garbage rd anyway. JMM was happy he didn't get knocked out. Manny was depressed, he didn't KO JMM.
JMM looked the best possible, I never thought 10 to 1 odds were correct. Very close fight and Manny won. JMM was less active and couldn't muster a knock down so he lost.

People were interviewed from diferent nationalities at te MGM Grand that saw Marquez win the fight, even Filipinos said Marquez won the fight, one Filipino even said that a draw would of been a robbery. I agree on that, you can't really judge a fighter from his last fight. And yeah if you watch his fight against cotto, (hbo) it was a championship fight, ledderman (or whoever the guy scoring) was leaning on to the cotto(champ), even though pacman was winning a (round)

I agree with you, the judges were right and the compubox numbers confirmed their overall decision. Marquez won the "emotional victory" (reinforced by the crowd and both teams' reactions) while Manny won the real, objective victory. Sucks though that a large part of the media is perpetuating a controversial decision, even a robbery for that fight.. Manny doesn't deserve it, nor does Marquez deserve a 4th fight. Pride and emotions can be blinding. I'm ready for Pacquiao vs. Mayweather!

floyd on fight night-160 lb range I believe, Kind of just like when de la hoya fought mayweather. De La hoya fought in the same range of 160lbs in his fight with floyd and that's how I think he was able to push floyd to the ropes. Pacquiao has a chance but I'm leaning towards floyd

i did the same thing becaus at the end of the fight I was hearing boooos when they anounced Pac won. After watching the fight and dissecting it round by round I got Pac winning. Its funny how all these Floyd Nutt huggers are capitalizing on this so called Robbery!!!! Alot of JMM felt that he won because of couple of clean combinations he got on Pac with the fact that he didnt kiss the canvas this time around. Floyd nutt huggers CASTILLIO WAS ROBBED BY MAY JR. As i commented on you first post vid, i rewatch the fight over n over even in slow motion and im still gettin pacc as a winner even im giving grace to jmm on those very close rd i still getin pacc 1rd winner.styles majes fyt floyd is a diff counter puncher marques use more of his leg while counterin(moving) floyd leans back then reseting comin ford with his counter.or block then counter unlike jmm slip or get hut to counter.

Having watched the fight live, there were many thoughts in my mind and because I saw it lived, I had let the fans fooled me. Lets face it, 99% of the time the Mexican fans were loud as shit cheering for Marquez. I was like, oh shiet, Pac isn't landing hard shots, but having watched the second fight again, my perspective is much like yours. Also, did you watch that 43 minute video of that one guy talking about the fight, including with Mayweather? Cuz it sounds very familiar! Good stuff.

Marquez landed the better shots.... Pac didn't use effective aggression at all, watch the fight in slow motion his shots barely hit Marquez.. Manny failed to cut off the ring or do anything. Marquez won the fight, the outcry is justified. 8-4? what fight were you watching.. there's a reason why 99% of pro boxers out there were calling it a robbery.

@tedahwooga not really man some of them thought Marquez could still put up a fight, I did watch it again I thought it was a draw at first actually then watched it again and scored it for Marquez by 2 rds and you're right a lot of people did write him off but Marquez was clearly the better fighter on that night Manny didn't even land one clean hard shot on the button. But you're right about Mayweather is not Marquez, he fights very differently from him and doesn't throw combos.
