  • This song and Sitting on top of the world . I can never listen to and not think about Jack Cooke. He owned those songs and anybody else singing them just don't quite sound right to me !

  • Mr. Cooke was as good a singer as Ralph. Also drove the bus a lot. A highlight of my life will always be getting a laugh out of him in Columbia, MS when I asked him to turn that cow for me... to which he replied, "the hairy sides turned out." Speak to her then. Good mornin, ol heifer...the ex mayor of Norton, VA.
