I still have the original LP And I will always cherish the Idea of Love peace and happiness. Though it seems such an Illusion now. This was a masterpiece I knew it then And I know the hope of this Album Liv's on I may be in a new Minority But I do have hope for us all

No, the Chamber Brothers recieved no royalities.As a matter of fact, Lester Chambers over the years brought all the records release.Lester was trying to sue for back royalities.Somebody broke into his house and stole all the L.P'S.Another band that don't recieve any royalities is Canned Heat.

i saw the brothers in Berkley maybe 1970 can't remember exactly if you know what I mean anway Joan Biaz and some other folk artists were playing as me and mine were getting high . Never heard of these guys. I was hooked from that moment .The brothers brought the house down and we were outside in the peoples park. I'm sure you could hear us all the way across the bay in San Fransisco

Brings back memories of party for my buddy Gary D. - leaving for Viet Nam in '69. Going away party in Santa Cruz mountains at friend's cabin.  Great music that night and thankfully Gary came back alive after his tour. So much good music and good times - Let it Bleed, Lee Micheals, etc. Got to get higher... friends.

Thanks for that post... roadied for these dudes back in the day on a tour with Alice Cooper and Blue Oyster Cult when I got back from Nam....hardest work I ever did and most fun I ever had. Lester still plays here in Miami at Tobacco Road. Alice(Vince) is on tour at Pompano Beach Amphiteater next month so we'll hook up. Music keeps us united.

I did ask s1met2 who uploaded 2 Chambers Bros tracks from the LP, "I Wish It Would Rain" & "Where Have All The Flowers Gone". He said he'd do it but never did. Possibly he likes the softer sounds. Can you help ? Thanks lance007

The first time I heard this song was on the famous Isle of Wight concert album in the early 70's, and it stayed with me since then. Every so often I'd check youtube and wish someone would post it - Thanks Guillaimz , this was truly an underrated classic !

My oldest brother was listening to this song in Viet Nam when his tank ran over a mine. Only him, the tape recorder, and the Chambers Brothers tape survived. The whole Love Peace and Happiness album is a classic!!! Thanks!!!!

Yeah, I remember the live version of this song was so cool, lotsa changes, great riffs, awesome vocals....I had the album long ago, now long lost....there was another kickass R&B live song, great bass & guitar line, which I think opened one of the sides of this double album...what was it???
