  • thank u for the lessons but do u mind slowing down a bit

  • Olá Sarin , nasci no Brasil e concordo que vc fala português muito bem !!

    Você nasceu lá ?

    Nasci no Rio de Janeiro e moro na Inglaterra por 16 anos.

    Queria que vc fizesse uma aula sobre as gírias do nosso Brasil como `uai´ em MG, e etc ..

    Obrigada pela atenção !!!!!

  • wow im so happy, its very similar to Spanish I have a feeling Im going to learn it in no time. Quick question acucar sounds like "Asucar".... how do I know when a c is supposed to sound like an s???

  • @CiguaPalmera I know your comment is 4 months old but I thought I'd respond, haha. For the word açúcar, the letter ç has an "s"sound.

  • @fairydust403 thank u so much, so when the c has that thing on the bottom is not a c any longer, what is that letter called?

  • @CiguaPalmera It's called a "cedilha" :)

  • @CiguaPalmera Or "Cedilla" in English.

  • @fairydust403 thank you sooo much I really appreciate it :)

  • You guys are awesome! Muito boa! ( ^ _ ^ ) I've learned some basic words from listening to singers like Roberta Sa, Maria Rita, Ana Carolina, Djavan, Rosa Passos, Bebel Gilberto, and Astrud Gilberto! Oh and Seu Jorge!

  • bread = pão

    coffe = café

    suggar = açucar

    is very different the sound of "pao" and "pão".

    pao is incorrect because the sound of "paul" means a kind of wood.

    the correct is like pawn

    in "açucar", the "ç" have sound of "s"

  • thanks guys. this is helpful. keep on doing this. and i like the funny part at the end. you are good teachers

  • Eu falo um pouco de Português. Eu gosto da sua lição muito. Obrigado.

  • good work man

  • good work man

  • I don´t know why you didn´t continue teachinh portuguese!!! Yo are amazing teachers!!! I hop enad you continue teaching us.

    Thanks a million

  • Eu falo

    tu falas

    ele / ela fala

    nos falamos

    vos falais

    eles falam

    This is the right conjugation of the verbs in portuguese

  • @123123c123 no Brasil a gente fala 'você' no lugar de 'tu', e 'vocês' no lugar de 'vós'.

    tu falas - você fala;

    vós falais - vocês falam.

  • i love this video it has been very very helpful

  • How different is portrugal's dialect from brazillian

  • que bosta de sotaque é esse, cabeça chata?

  • why do we put the o to make falo if we said eu in the previous conversation? Dont get it.

  • @anxcd

    This is how we conjugate the verbs.

    falar = to speak

    Eu falO = I speak

    Ele/ Ela falA = He/ She speaks

    Nos falAMOS - We speak

    I think this is kind of complicated for an English speaker. Portuguese is not that easy.

  • a good way to reconize the verbs,they all end in AR,ER,IR,,same thing in spanish.

  • Eu falo inglês, espanhol, e um pouco de alemão e italiano^^.

  • How do you pronounce the "R" in Portuguese??? can anyone tell me, thanks

  • R as the first letter of a word sounds like eh-hee for ex. real would be pronounced

    hay-owl two Rs together has the Ha sound as in the brasilian word carro which is car in english

  • Regarding the word Real the L on the end of a word has no roll of the tongue the L is open as in owl hence Real sounds like hay-owl (word for the brasilian dollar)

  • @theblunttruth

    It depends on what part of Brazil you come from.

    But dont worry, you will be understood pronouncing the way Americans do.

  • this is waaay more helpful than what i was doing before. i hope there are more episodes

    thanks alot from England

  • pay atencion, it isn't falámos, it is falamos, falámos is in the past simple, pay atencion to your prenonciaction right, but great video.

    I'm portuguese

  • this is a high quality job, really appreciated

    Interesting, professional and easy to follow

    May be you can introduce more !

    Thanks a lot, A beginner in Germany

  • Faltou acentuação nas palavras... words didn´t wrote correctly!!! Mas as aulas são nota 10!!! But the video classes are excellent!!!

  • Its funny how similar the 2 languages are, but just a single letter sounds just a litttllee different, but changes it all!

  • yo hablo voseo-español, y nunca he tomado clases de portuges, pero siempre he podido hablar, escribir, entender portuges.

  • Há o português do Brasil e o português europeu. A nível de sintaxe, de fonética e a nível lexical há diferenças!!

    "Onibus" - português do Brasil. "Autocarro" - português europeu.

  • Voce fala portugues? nao eu to falando grego..

    aushasuash
