  • uh.@FatMarshall got pwned by @cmletamendi. Deserved it. Typical american fucktard and their racist jokes about latin people.

  • lol go on transcribe audio and then ggo to 5:00 minuits in

  • one question peepz! if i have 3 gb ram can i put another 1 gb extra if i want to or does it have to work together with the other 3 gb? does it have to be the same like the other 1 gb?

  • i really don't understand the ram clicking part where you attached to those sides what do you mean by 1 is bigger then the other 1 or longer?

  • Thanks bro, was very helpful. Did you just put the 1gb in the empty slot next to your old one or did you take you old one out and just have on RAM stick in there?

  • thanks

  • Hi Dude,...I just got my uncle's eMachine desktop. I Order 4 GB DDR3 RAM, In my desktop I have only 256 MB Ram. If I do same thing then it will be work or not.

  • Lol doorknob... Fail

  • thank you man you very helped me a lot :D

  • Statement: I would be willing to give you tips/ answer any computer queries you may have regarding computer parts and things not running right if you wish. I've built 1 high-end gaming PC myself, and have fixed 2 others.

Suggestion: Also, if you don't already, search and download Ccleaner. Install it and run it. It will help keep your PC running smoothly by cleaning up useless files that buildup on your PC. Also be sure your PC is secure. Running Spybot and Avira will keep your PC secure.

  • Commentary: First off, nice idea with the tutorial. I feel I should make sure to clarify that you can't upgrade your CPU with anything. Your CPU is what processes all information. The only way you upgrade a CPU is by buying a new one. You upgraded your Office software on your Hard drive with Office 2007. It has also slowed down not because of your low RAM, but your CPU could be too slow/old.

Suggestion: You can upgrade to a decent PC for a really decent price at Newegg.com.

  • thanks dude :) this video really helped me :) im subbing and sub back :) Peace

  • LOL! At 3:10 you said slut but then you corrected your self and said slit I just thought that was funny nice tutorial!

  • Thanks for your video. You know how people worry about installing something into their console for the first time. I have an E-Machines with only 504 MB Ram. Want to install 1GB. I saved your video in my favorites and I can't wait to try your instructions. You make it look so easy. Your instructions are thoughtful too. Wondering if I should jack it up to 2GB since Windows 8 may be released in 2012.

  • I think there is something seriously wrong with you............"Important to ground yourself" then you say I'm not sure what that means, HA. Grabbing a door knob will not earth you (wooden door),The E machine T3516 did not come with windows 95 and would not take 1Gb of DDR. Why did you take the screws off the side of the tower with the motherboard? If there is a 512Mb already installed and it is only regestering 350Mb there is something seriously wrong (and I suspect it is with you) Get help.

  • i have 1 gb ddr2 ram..... is it possible adding 4 gb,2gb ram on in it?

by d way tnx for the vid..

  • great so i have to be naked cuz most of my winter clothing causes static... lol jk thx a lot bro thought i had to take off the other ram sticks.

  • hey cmletamendi thanks 4 the help i have the same computer as u i have a 562 mb ram it so laggy and umm a question does 2gig install same as 1 gig ram?

  • when he says slot it sounds like slut lool

  • Mexicans don't install RAM, they install roofing.

  • @FatMarshall . Thks for commenting FatMarshall. First and foremost, I'm not Mexican. I am Basque-Italian. Secondly, I have nothing against Mexicans. Why do you? The richest man in the world, Carlos Slim Helu, is a Mexican... I don't see him installing roofing. Also, this video was made for those who are not so savvy with computers, such as myself. I am a doctoral student and have my Master's degree in finance, and I don't expect you to understand derivates or the Black-Scholes formula... Thanks

  • @cmletamendi Lol okay then sorry. My bad.

  • @cmletamendi nice with i had a brain like your :D

  • @FatMarshall He looks like an mexican to you? really? open your eyes douche bag.

  • @milad2007halo3 Dude, what the fuck?

I posted that 4 months ago. Stfu about it already.

  • @FatMarshall It's just funny on how you fail at recognizing people.

  • @milad2007halo3 You would only be offended by that if you were a beaner yourself. GTFO faggot :P

  • @FatMarshall I am not offended at all... also not a mexican =).

  • @milad2007halo3 Then why the fuck are you going through 4 month old comments on a random video?

  • @FatMarshall It's just funny to see people's unintelligent comments.

  • Great video! Thanks for posting. Very informative!

  • you need to speak up

  • Thanks dude I upgraded my RAM yesterday to 2GB from 1GB(it had 0MB free of RAM)Now it has More free RAM.

  • This is the best ram installation ive seen so far all the rest were a minute or two and dident explain and they dident show booting pc.

  • just push it in ---> thats what she said

  • @imhotcause what u mean she he's a man.

  • i really dnt know

    google it

    i didn't know about that

I just bought my ram and hooked it up worked fine

  • lol we have the same computer!!!!

  • Very helpful. Just installed the ram. You should show me how to install a hard drive.

  • easy its just like the ram but in a diffrent spot ish place

  • a little slut AH HAHAHA i lol'd :P

  • is that wprk for pentium (R) dual core ?

  • search for your ram type online

    any ram shopping place

for example i need either a

    PC2-5300 or a PC2-4200

  • If I carry a door-knob around will I never have to worry about electrocution? And what about lighting will I be protected from that?

  • Lights... hmm... thats not a bad idea! I might take that jump too! Thanks for the feedback DJ!

  • np dawg.. i just put 2 1gb sticks on there.. thx for the vid let me knw what else u do 2 yur emachine.. ok if u mod it sum more. am thinking bout lights and take it form a 80gb to 300 lol if possible.. trying not 2 buy a new one yet

  • thx dude i hv the same machine i just did the same thing what else u do to yur emachine?

  • Hey DJ, thats all I did so far! Might make it a two-screener in the future so I can do my stock trading and webdesign for this website im doing pretty soon...

  • is it possible to take out 2 1gb ram out of my dell xps 200 computer and put it in my dell xps 420 computer?

  • Hey, my suggestion, call dell and ask. You;d have to know how many pins the 420 has vs how many pins the 200's RAM has. If the pins are off, it just wont won't fit, but give them a call just to make sure, but i dont see any problems with that.

  • hello!, i have some question about the MHz on RAM. Can i install RAM with 400 MHz , when i have 333MHz on my computer ???,

  • I believe that's where my comp was... Give it a try, at most, what may happen is the fan would remain on all the time, and may shut down on its own. If you don't want to take that risk, contact the manufacturer that built your motherboard since they have all the specs. At their 1-800 number they may be able to tell you instantly whether or not it would be ok.

  • okay, thanks a lot man. very nice video too :)

  • hey i just installed another 256MB to my already installed 256.. it works much much better but.. do you think if i installed 1 gig would it do much much better??

  • Sure, give it a shot! You might wanna talk to someone at a computer store or with your CPU's manufacturer to make sure the CPU can handle the load with your current motherboard.

  • thanks, and what would happen if you put 2 1 gig ram sticks in a computer that was only meant to handle 1 gig total? not saying i'd do it but what would happen?

  • Sure, no prob. Well, for my CPU, the fan comes on more often than it used to, and its a bit louder. The Fan usually comes on if the computer needs to cool off, so that means it would get warmer if your computer can't handle it. If your CPU was meant to handle 1 G, and you put in 2 G's, you should be ok.

  • oh ok but would the motherboard umm start up with that if its not supose to have it? or would it start up and just not reconize it on the my computer thing.

  • It should start up automatically and recognize it.

  • all you got to do is touch the inner panel of the machine, the case

  • omfg u have te sme rear mother borard as my acer t135

  • Nice, well I hope this vid helped you out then since our comps are similar

  • windows xp with a 1GB ram is great i run it like dat and my online game is pretty fast but i need a betetr graphic card.......but nice vid....

  • Yes, the comp is still fast at this point...and I've even downloaded some games and it still runs fine..

  • that was interesting, is the comp still fast and that was a good tutorial.

  • is it still working if you combine 512+1gb ram...

    please inform urgently....

  • That shouldn't be a problem...but....you might want to make sure that your pc can handle the memory. For example, when I installed this one in mine, it works perfectly, but, it makes more frequent "spaceship-like" fan noises every once in a while- it doesn't bother us though. Call your computer manufacturer's 24/hr 1-800 number just to get a second opinion, and to see if your processor can handle the RAM you are trying to install.

  • thanks a lot man. I was having trouble installing the ram because it would go in, but i couldnt get the locks to secure it. I've seen several other videos and they didnt tell me push in one side first til it clicks then do the same for the other side. thanks again!

  • Hey, no prob. Im glad I was able to help!!!

  • Good video, but I'm confused as to what RAM improves on. Does it increase loading speed?

  • Cool man, I'm glad I was able to help!

  • By the way, the RAM cost me about $30, ebay.

  • Cool - Thanks!

  • thx bro

  • No prob. I hope it helped.

  • No problem! I'm glad I was of help. Thank you for your comment!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO!!!!!! This will help me a lot! Too bad people feel they have to post a negative comment (but your response was very professional and curteous...while being able to get your point across!!) It's people like me who really appreciate your help!! ^_^

  • INTEL CELERON

  • u dumb ass motherboards are very easily destroyed by static electricity so if u dont wanna kill ur comp ground ur self it has nothing to do with electricuting ur self like dumb as up there says

  • Thanks for your reply Joe. This video was created for people such as myself, who aren't specifically strong on the tech side. I heard somewhere that electricity's stored somewhere on the motherboard and that that was why it's important to ground yourself. Now I know- but the immature comment was unesessary. I'm working on my Master's and PhD in Finance, and likewise, I wouldn't expect you to be too savvy with Futures, Options, Investments and Stock...right? Thanks for your understanding.

  • so if i buy two of these, because i want to get 2gb, i would take out the one already installed in the computer? because i already opened mine up and there are only two slots for the ram. thanks, great video!

  • Hi bubblt,

Yes, that is correct. A lot of people think that RAM stores memory, and actually, it doesn't. Random Access Memory is temporary memory that is flushed out whenever u restart ur comp. You may remove the one already there, that's fine. However, make sure that the RAM u are installing (2GB), your computer can handle, so as to avoid any motherboard damages. Ask the guys ur buying the RAM from if its ok, and provide them with your PC's info.

  • hey thanks! i went and bought 2gb and using your video, installed them and now they register great! a game i was having trouble with lagging now plays very well. thanks for the video, it really helped.

  • so if u install 1 gb of ram on uir comp it will read it as only 350mb? or 1gb

  • Well, it depends. This computer of mine had 512MB before, but when I installed Microsoft Windows XP and MS Office 2007, it read as 350-something. So it should read a little less than 1GB, unless you have many applications running. Talk to a local computer retailer for more details....Thanks!

  • Hey, glad I could help!

  • thanks so much ive been trying to get this damn RAM installed for 3 days now and this should help

  • hey, very good video perhaps you could help me with this, by the looks i have exactly the same pc as you but im trying to install 2 gig of ram, now i can put 1 gig in and it works fine but i try both sticks and when i power the computer up the large fan will continue to run at a high speed and nothing comes up on my screen, i take the ram out and it works fine, i have tried everythiong and have spent hours trying to find a solution all help will be appreciated

  • Hmm, well, if the fan is constantly on, maybe the motherboard can't handle all that RAM or GHz, =s perhaps you may want to go to a Best Buy or to any computer store and ask one of the guys there, they're usually very computer savvy and won't charge u for advice...If one stick works fine, and both don't, just leave the one in, with the other that came with your PC. You dont wanna burn ur motherboard. Good luck!

  • sounds like a good idea, thanks for the help

  • What, the upgrade? Or you mean the video? Yeah, I know. But since most of the CPU's that I've seen ppl doing RAM upgrades on are on the 'newer' side or on laptops, I figured to pull the old one out and upgrade it and do a vid on it. No big deal. Thanks for the comment

  • No offence, but this has been done countless times already...
