MRM is not about violence against women anymore than feminism is about hating men. Sadly, I can not find myself identifying with either extremes in these groups as both seemed unconcerned with abandoning the idea of fighting for just one set of rights instead of inclusivity of all rights. It's amazing how oppositional two groups can be when their goal is the same thing; equal treatment.
And people like "ManSpeakOut" and "FinalJusticeMovement" are two guys who make me want to curl up and hide..... They have me absolutely horrified..... As a young teenage girl, I think I might as well admit this: I've cried. I HAVE cried. Because of all the hate and violence directed towards me, by male "rights" activists...... I don't think I can take it anymore.... When will this stop?!?! T__T
@suicunesrider You are not a victim, get over yourself. The MRM just want actual true equality. The legal system is so incredibly anti man anti father its not even funny. The divorce rate is staggering and 80% are filed by women because they are rewarded for being home wreckers. From false rape claims to selective service and zero reproduction rights men are truly the oppresed ones in america today. So again please just get over yourself and stop pretending to be a victim.
Sorry but the whole idea of "false rape claims" is actually a myth made by MRAs. In fact rape is one of the most under-reported crimes in today's world. Many women who are victims are too scared to speak out, and do not want to go through a painful court process. Worse there is the backlash, there are many assholes (including MRAs) who will go off and start claiming that "its another false rape accusations", and that makes it hard for the victim.
@Eceoes You are either a liar or have no idea what you are talking about. 80% of all rape claims are false and women are never held accountable for their actions. Women are not afraid of men at all and actually go out of their way to fuck guys over. Rape is the most OVER reported false crime in america today and done with malicious intent. Police forces in many cities have actually had to make public anoucments for women to please stop making so many FALSE rape claims wasting ploice time
@Eceoes Yes, I agree. The court process also includes coming face to face with the rapist, which can be psychologically damaging to say the least. What about body examinations? I think it's very dangerous to downplay the seriousness of rape towards women. I'm so happy I found your channel. I've tried to have civilized discussions with mra's and I just end up getting ambushed with verbal attacks. This gender war has got to stop.
On the topic with divorce, no one likes divorce, not even women. Many women go through a lot of hardships, both economically and emotionally, when it comes to divorce, despite the fact they initiated it. Before the women's movement, it was more difficult for women to leave abusive or oppressive relationships.
As for Father's rights, that is one legit argument, but feminism is not to blame for that at all.
@Eceoes Feminism is to blame for 99.9% of it. Its a movement based primarily on the hate of men and boys secondarily for privilage and special treatment. Men are the ones who have trouble leaving abusive marriages today because they literally end up out on the street. True equality would look like this. Both men & women enlisting with the selective service at 18, eliminate no fault divorce, child support, alimony, equal reproductive rights and whoever pays for the house gets to keep it!
Male Rights Movement men have said things like "Feminists know that MRM's are getting more power and attention, and they are scared." They say it as if Feminists are evil and facing justice or something.
Well you know what..... they are right about one thing. I am scared. MRMs scare the shit out of me. Because all they are doing is moving towards misogyny. Even the ones who don't THINK they are, truly are. I am scared for my rights, and constantly depressed because of the things MRAs say.....
I completely agree with you when you compared it when at one kid called Valenti "stupid c--t" to a racist calling an African American "stupid n----r". The reason why its more accepted for people to use that word on Valenti is because sexism is more acceptable than racism, and its more subtle and deep seeded.
The woman who made this video is a real hero to me.... mostly because I am terrified... absolutely terrified. Just look at the highest rated comments. Saying "stupid cunt" about a woman is just like saying "stupid nigger" about a black person. It's disgusting. Yet that got highest rated....

And now I'm exhausted. They don't listen. After a while, you really do start to crack. Feminists feel the pressure on males to be alpha and dominant is damaging including many other things. I can't speak for all feminists, but I know Jessica Valenti comes from a place of love, care and equality, much unlike some sickening comments I've read underneath this. Such a shame to see such bitterness and hate.
@alimcfarlane Ironic isn't it, that some MRAs actually accuse feminists of supporting the very sexual stereotypes that feminists have been fighting against. They don't want men to be rated by their earning power or their machismo. And they don't advocate the welfare queen status of divorcees. I can at least distinguish between legitimate feminist issues and misandrist attitudes among some of the extreme radfems. Why can't they?
You're right. At first I thought that the MRAs had some good criticisms of extreme feminists and some good issues, like double standards in domestic violence cases or boys falling behind in school. Then I started to realize that most of their vids were just feminist bashing sessions with a bit of misogyny thrown in for good measure. And here they are again, jumping all over this video discussion forum.
"It is a fact that all totalitarian systems – without exception – employ false history as a major strategic weapon which, when deployed, succeeds in sowing confusion and weakness, undermining the clarity of understanding that is prerequisite in order for the target population to organize itself to fight back effectively." end quote
This lady is totally off on her opinion. What men are concerned about is the inequality that exists. Men are sent to jail for the same crime, given more lengthy sentences for the same crime, are often accused of crimes by women when they have not done so and can not prove themselves because the woman is the one taken for word, and the list goes on. I won't even go into how men lose their shirts in divorce. That's a lengthy one.
I have said this over and over again, the MRM is nothing more than a backlash against the women's movement. It involves a group of sexist men who share their misogynistic views over the internet, and use flimsy arguments to back up their statements. The reason why these MRAs are popular is because most of the internet consist of males, especially younger males who are not mentally mature yet, therefore it emotionally pleases them to see videos that "side with their gender".
@Eceoes Tell that to women like girlwriteswhat, Erin Pizzey, and Christina Hoff Sommers.
Do you actually believe what Jessica is spoon feeding you about the MRM? You must be pretty weak-minded.
She is making accusations slandering the movement because as many feminists are beginning to realize we are becoming a powerful movement, the true pursuerers of equality.
Addressing the issues of men that feminists like you pretend do not exist, thats why we get support.
@Eceoes I suggest you go to A Voice For men website and read the article "Setting the Record Straight." To read the history of the MRM, as honest history is the weapon of freedom.
@Eceoes But there are some legitimate men's issues. I thought that most of Warren Farrell's vids were thought provoking without being misogynist. It's just that the old misogynist attitudes, that have always been there, have come to surface in the men's movement and this has obscured their legitimate issues. Unfortunately, some of the extreme radfems, like Andrea Dworkin, Valerie Solanas, Gail Dines & Mary Daley, have given them ample excuse to attack all feminists.
Misogynist = Anyone who doesn't agree with feminism? Okay I was never anti-feminist but now I am one I'm starting to hate these guys seriously everything is mens fault.
Feminism is all about women's rights and equality. So if anyone is against feminism either they are really misinformed, or they are truly a Misogynist.
@Eceoes Yesterday I spent an hour watching feminist views especially from feminist frequency and I have to say I disagree with almost everything she says. I'm all for women having equal rights but modern feminist don't seem to understand what equality is. Half of feminist blame everything on "the patriarchy" wtf? These guys blame men for practically everything including for being men. Many of the things feminist say are hypocritical and actually gender bashing. People are seeing the hypocrisy.
@alicetheninth I'd bet a lot of money that your ugly and unnsuccessful with women and she's far better looking than any woman you will ever get with with.
In a patriachical country "that man who shot those women in Carolina" would be reported as "That murderer who shot those victims/students/workers/whatever they were in Carolina"
I like how VAWA defines domestic violence conducted by men agianst women: Basically anything that'll stress or provoke her passes. Trying to balance the 70% stats that was caused by this very feeling of princess entitlement, are we?
Maybe we should protest VAWA by not getting married recklessly untill it's taken down?
Feminism is the absurd communist/marxist idea of SAMENESS rather than EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. It to the core conflicts with Liberty, Freedom of Choice and The Pursuit of Happiness for ALL in modern society. For rather than providing EVERYBODY with equal opportunity for us to do with it what we like. Feminism dictates that we shall all do exactly the same thing or else we are not equal. Clearly violating the freedoms of both men and women. Feminism thus is NOT EQUALITY but ENFORCED SAMENESS.
If misoginy means hatred of women and if anti feminism is misogynistic then she is simply equating feminism with 'women' - and this sums up her view of the world - 'feminism' is just an emotional tool she uses to bolster her sense of entitlement and privilige - as a woman. Put simply - 'feminism' in this context means nothing. All she's saying is there are some nasty people on the internet. This doesn't even begin to address the very real concerns of MRA's. She's really saying NOTHING here.
anti feminist movement? Seems fair seeings that feminism is an anti-Man movement. So if it tears that down it seems to fall more in line with equality huh?
For those straight white males who have commented, I'd remind you to check your privilege. When you enter a minority space, you need to realize that this is their soapbox, not yours.Your privilege gives you many other soapboxes that you can take advantage of, so when participating in a discussion held by a non-privileged group or individual your primary goal is to pay attention to what they say about their issues, lives, and oppressions.
@alimcfarlane I'd remind you that women aren't a minority. So, check your own privilege. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE (SQUAWK!) CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE (SQUAWK!) Birdie num nums. Out of curiosity, what are some of these "many other soapboxes" my alleged privilege provides me? You look at oligarchs and assume that is how it is for the rest of us. Do you ever pay attention? If you do not, why do you feel entitled to it?
@alimcfarlane Wait, women are a minority now? Last I checked the United States was populated by 52% women.
Men are "privileged"? Ah yes, we have the privilege of being the only gender to fight and die on the front lines, and the only gender who can be drafted. It's also our "privilege" that mothers are auto-awarded custody of our children unless we fight for it.
And who could forget the "privilege" of having a woman take our job because a company wants to appear "diverse".
@MrJohnnyOldschool I also feel "privileged" that I can be sent to jail merely by an accusation from a woman, regardless of whether evidence has been gathered. And what a "privilege" it is for me to see every movie and TV sitcom portraying my gender as an inept, emasculated boob desperately trying to please an overbearing wife.
But my favorite "privilege" is how women expect me to pay for their drinks and dinner on a date, despite assuring us all they are "equal".
@alimcfarlane why is it that feminists always assume that anyone who is against them is a "straight white male" im a hispanic male who thinks it is an abomination and im pretty sure thre are black, asian and other hispanic men who think that feminism isnt all its cracked up to be and that it hurts us as well. making this a race thing is just dishonest on your part. dont lump the men of all races with ur BS bc we never got the memo that we automatically became feminists.
How can you be so negative towards somebody who is merely trying to promote equality, and representing a minority and addressing issues which deal with basic human rights?
@alimcfarlane Because the are not approaching the drive towards equality honestly and fairly. They are attempting to only give their category more power, not equal power.
@rooleybbq She and many other famous figures of the feminist movement are beginning to take notice of us MRA's. Our movement is growing in size and momentum and the problems and issues men had for decades, some even entire centuries old; are finally beginning to be recognized and acknowledged.
Jessica and many like her are trying to spew disinformation about us and taking preemptive strikes before we become more powerful, and a powerful opposition to feminism.
@rooleybbq Well yeah, an MRM guy did in fact go into a gym and open fire on women, killing several. I have been online an read of violent threat from them. Have not seen any such extreme and hateful views from feminists on a scale a fraction as big as from the MRM's, thats for sure. Some people here would rather not admit that.
Jessica Valenti, just seeing her makes me angry & we MRA's don't share roots with PUA's,lie #1 also lie #2 George Sodini was never connected to the MRM now we enter lie #3 the MRM doesn't advocate violents. And I'd like to add they're are plenty of women who support the MRM & they're are men with in our ranks from many different walks of life & all colors along with creeds. And our cause is to end societal misandry!
Feminists are so ill informed it's almost funny if it wasn't so lame and pathetic. She's scared of us because we have the truth on our side and she can't sensor us from speaking out nor can she hide from it.
The MRM is not anti woman it's pro men and anti abuse of men. To categorize all MRM's with the guy who shot up a womens gym is absurd. Was he also a Christian, are all Christians women haters who will shoot up gyms? Your logic is nonsensical.
The MRM is for total and complete equality, don't speak on what you are ignorant of. Watch some MRM vids. Check out websites like Parental Alienation Awareness.
Don't spread misinformation and propaganda, no one needs to throw gasoline onto the fire.
Violent views on women? What the hell are you talking about? We're talking about the inequality that does exist. Suddenly, because we are pointing out what clearly exists, we are labelled violent? That's just pathetic.
@ManSpeakOut ACTA, SOPA...I just don't know what to believe any more, I wish there was just one person that could be held accountable for trying to make these laws, So I could shoot him in the head. How the hell do they expect me to stream my misogynistic porn into my brain, I want to fill my brain with that stuff.
No where in the video did Valenti stated that she hated free speech or the internet. All she did was spoke out against the MRM. She said that the MRM was a group of sexist men who can share their sexist values to ther sexist men, and she is completely right. If anything the MRM is nothing more than an angry backlash against the women's movement by sexist individuals.
Yeah but you can say men are stupid, chop their dicks off and laugh at it, say you want to kill men, on shirts, and television, so your just another feminist victimizing herself and saying that men are opressive, give me a break, a great number of feminist joined the KKK after the 1 wave of you guys, just face it feminism is a hate group, only women's rights not men's, so that is clearly not equality, humanism/egalitarians are for equality, not feminism/feminist and all their hate rhetoric
Big think is turning into small think. It seems Valenti is confusing the resentment of entitled princesses and ideological goons for misogyny. Twisted opinions like these are invading new movements, including atheism. I predict in the future we may have to start pointing out our own garbage.
Norway recently withdrew all the funding to so called "gender studies" in scientific research much due to a documentary "hjernevask" (Brainwash) shown on National Tv NRK. It shines the light on how feminism do not hold up to science when faced with biology and psychology.
sweden still keeps up the gender fascism.
The show has English subtitles and should be seen and spread by anybody antifeminist and interested in the present nordic situation.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 Dick Masterson, Maddox, 'Woman in the kitchen' meme (although that's not that major), the term 'facebook whore/slut' based on her choice in make-up or clothing, the ostracization of females from online gaming communities because 'hurr hurr girls can't play video games'...
@lovemeordie83 she didnt exactly point out any sources though. MRAs usually back up their claims with statistical evidence while feminists try to skew evidence towards their own agenda like the jezebel articles which tell lie after lie or false rape statistics like one in every five women is raped. with that logic that means if i work in a place full of women, at least one of them is raped, i just find that difficult to believe. this woman just made a rant, nothing more.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 Now I agree, she hasn't done a very good job presenting an argument. However, the inability of one person to articulate a problem does not necessarily mean the problem isn't there.
Also, one thing you have to realize about sexual abuse statistics is that a) Most likely, there are sexually abused women in your workplace, but they won't tell you because its not something you discuss with coworkers on a casual basis, and b) no one is evenly distributing sexual abuse survivors...
@lovemeordie83 there's plenty of men who go through getting raped, but no one even ives a fuck about them. and when feminists keep changing the rules of rape, it gets to the point where even looking at a woman for like two seconds can become rape. i dont want to live in a world where i can get locked up for looking at a woman, shit we already have NDAA. the world is already a fucked up place.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 See, now, that's a good point. HERE we tread the thin line between misandry and feminism. Feminism is the appreciation and empowerment of women without necessarily berating men. This should also apply to males who identify as men, transgenders, etc. (Note: SHOULD.)
Also, do you really think it's a less fucked up place for women? Very, very rarely is what you said the case. In fact, when a victim is raped, society says it is their fault for provoking them.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 ...evenly across the nation. It's not like, oh, we've already got 1 sexual abuse survivor to 4 women who haven't been, so you'll have to transfer to New York I think they're a few women short over there. There are places where sexual abuse survivors are far more concentrated, ie. brothels, ghettos, military, etc. probably has a higher incidence of sexual abuse than your workplace. Also, you have to account for the survivors who haven't said anything. It's not that simple.
@lovemeordie83 while there might be a lot of rape, not all men rape. in fact, those that do rape are in a small minority as most men were raised better. besides, most sexual abuse is likely to come from the douchebag she's already dating or hangs out with and not the guy she think is a creep just bc she's not attracted to him. women are so worried about "stranger danger" that they dont consider that most sexual abuse comes from ppl you've already known.
con) Feminists also NEVER talk about lesbian rape or domestic violence which is actually proven to be far more prevalent than male on female sexual abuse due to ppl looking the other way or the justice system not taking lesbian abuse seriously.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 'Men who rape are a small minority' You don't know that. Alot of the time, a girl reveals some skin, drinks too much, the man takes advantage of her. No one sends him to jail. No one tells him he's a rapist. He's just a bro who managed to get some ass, and the girl is stuck with being a 'slut'. She is told she was asking for it. THAT'S MISOGYNY. That's hatred of women. If feminism fought against anything, it would be the misogyny that goes into advocating rape.
@lovemeordie83 So what happens if BOTH parties are too drunk to consent which is just as common if not more common? Or what if they both consent drunk and the woman wakes up with the 2 she consented with? Rape is wrong but the what is rape discussion is much deeper than what most feminists make it out to be...
@lovemeordie83 Misogyny doesn't advocate rape just because you say it does. It does advocate violence just because you say it does. The inequality that exists is what misogynists fight against. And we fight for that equality for all people, regardless of race. No person should be judged for or against based on race or sex, but by their own individual merits.
@DeadJesusRodeo69 What you said about a feminist accusing a man of raping her by looking at her, THAT'S misandry. That's taking that same opposition against misogyny, attributing the misogyny to every man she sees, for whatever reason, and belittling him and making him feel sorry he was ever born for having a penis. They don't care if you're a transsexual male. They don't care if you're a nice guy. As far as they're concerned, if you have a penis, you are part of the problem. THAT'S not right.
I think she presented a poor argument, she basically went down the shamming language road and attempted to invalidate MRAs or any of their points against feminism by implying some inherit hated of women. Per usual like most feminist, her argument deflected off any real facts or "points"but rather just a rant that had nothing to really do about why people are anti-feminist outside the"they must hate women"shtick.
She is correct in saying that the MRM is more Anti Feminist than it is about men's rights but it's not the same old misogyny. It's a response to the out of control misandry feminists have been engaged in over the past few decades. Men are not only more often killed or attacked by women but it is widely celebrated in the media when they are. The interesting thing here though is that ten years ago a feminist would not have had to take the time to acknowledge that there even was a men’s movement.
Sodini didn't have any connection with PUA. He was a sexually frustrated man who was extremely bitter because despite being kind no women liked him sexually, and he was alone. Roissy and others, after the death, mentioned that he would have done better if he learned game and wouldn't be depressed.
This isn't helpful. If she has some specific concern with violent men, voicing her concern about them would help but it's not clear her dislike of MRAs is based on actual real life events.
Pure ad hominem.

Pax00Imperium 1 day ago
@Pax00Imperium Well to feminists, such issues do not exist...you'd just be called crazy and a misogynist.
and they wonder why so many people hate feminists.
ManSpeakOut 1 day ago
I have said this over and over again, the MRM is nothing more than a backlash against the women's movement. It involves a group of sexist men who share their misogynistic views over the internet, and use flimsy arguments to back up their statements. The reason why these MRAs are popular is because most of the internet consist of males, especially younger males who are not mentally mature yet, therefore it emotionally pleases them to see videos that "side with their gender".
Eceoes 1 day ago
@Eceoes Tell that to women like girlwriteswhat, Erin Pizzey, and Christina Hoff Sommers.
Do you actually believe what Jessica is spoon feeding you about the MRM? You must be pretty weak-minded.
She is making accusations slandering the movement because as many feminists are beginning to realize we are becoming a powerful movement, the true pursuerers of equality.
Addressing the issues of men that feminists like you pretend do not exist, thats why we get support.
ManSpeakOut 1 day ago
@Eceoes Feminists equate Fighting for men and their rights = Misogyny

ThirdRAILKink 1 day ago
@Eceoes But there are some legitimate men's issues. I thought that most of Warren Farrell's vids were thought provoking without being misogynist. It's just that the old misogynist attitudes, that have always been there, have come to surface in the men's movement and this has obscured their legitimate issues. Unfortunately, some of the extreme radfems, like Andrea Dworkin, Valerie Solanas, Gail Dines & Mary Daley, have given them ample excuse to attack all feminists.

Feminism is all about women's rights and equality. So if anyone is against feminism either they are really misinformed, or they are truly a Misogynist.
Eceoes 1 day ago
@Eceoes Yesterday I spent an hour watching feminist views especially from feminist frequency and I have to say I disagree with almost everything she says. I'm all for women having equal rights but modern feminist don't seem to understand what equality is. Half of feminist blame everything on "the patriarchy" wtf? These guys blame men for practically everything including for being men. Many of the things feminist say are hypocritical and actually gender bashing. People are seeing the hypocrisy.

For those straight white males who have commented, I'd remind you to check your privilege. When you enter a minority space, you need to realize that this is their soapbox, not yours.Your privilege gives you many other soapboxes that you can take advantage of, so when participating in a discussion held by a non-privileged group or individual your primary goal is to pay attention to what they say about their issues, lives, and oppressions.
alimcfarlane 2 weeks ago
@alimcfarlane I'd remind you that women aren't a minority. So, check your own privilege. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE (SQUAWK!) CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE (SQUAWK!) Birdie num nums. Out of curiosity, what are some of these "many other soapboxes" my alleged privilege provides me? You look at oligarchs and assume that is how it is for the rest of us. Do you ever pay attention? If you do not, why do you feel entitled to it?
ShakaCthulu 1 week ago 4
@alimcfarlane Wait, women are a minority now? Last I checked the United States was populated by 52% women.
Men are "privileged"? Ah yes, we have the privilege of being the only gender to fight and die on the front lines, and the only gender who can be drafted. It's also our "privilege" that mothers are auto-awarded custody of our children unless we fight for it.
And who could forget the "privilege" of having a woman take our job because a company wants to appear "diverse".
MrJohnnyOldschool 1 week ago 6
@MrJohnnyOldschool I also feel "privileged" that I can be sent to jail merely by an accusation from a woman, regardless of whether evidence has been gathered. And what a "privilege" it is for me to see every movie and TV sitcom portraying my gender as an inept, emasculated boob desperately trying to please an overbearing wife.
But my favorite "privilege" is how women expect me to pay for their drinks and dinner on a date, despite assuring us all they are "equal".
MrJohnnyOldschool 1 week ago 6
@alimcfarlane why is it that feminists always assume that anyone who is against them is a "straight white male" im a hispanic male who thinks it is an abomination and im pretty sure thre are black, asian and other hispanic men who think that feminism isnt all its cracked up to be and that it hurts us as well. making this a race thing is just dishonest on your part. dont lump the men of all races with ur BS bc we never got the memo that we automatically became feminists.

Norway recently withdrew all the funding to so called "gender studies" in scientific research much due to a documentary "hjernevask" (Brainwash) shown on National Tv NRK. It shines the light on how feminism do not hold up to science when faced with biology and psychology.

The show has English subtitles and should be seen and spread by anybody antifeminist and interested in the present nordic situation.

Jessica Valenti advocates that men accused of rape be held as guilty until proven innocent.
That's misandry at its most basic level- demanding the constitutional rights of men be trashed at a woman's whim.
That's far more dangerous, owing to the following Ms Valenti has, than some random man saying he hates women.

Would you like me to continue?
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 Oh, and the widespread, poorly informed assumption made that feminism = misandry, ie. Femi-Nazis.
lovemeordie83 1 month ago 2
@lovemeordie83 she didnt exactly point out any sources though. MRAs usually back up their claims with statistical evidence while feminists try to skew evidence towards their own agenda like the jezebel articles which tell lie after lie or false rape statistics like one in every five women is raped. with that logic that means if i work in a place full of women, at least one of them is raped, i just find that difficult to believe. this woman just made a rant, nothing more.
DeadJesusRodeo69 1 month ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 Now I agree, she hasn't done a very good job presenting an argument. However, the inability of one person to articulate a problem does not necessarily mean the problem isn't there.
Also, one thing you have to realize about sexual abuse statistics is that a) Most likely, there are sexually abused women in your workplace, but they won't tell you because its not something you discuss with coworkers on a casual basis, and b) no one is evenly distributing sexual abuse survivors...
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
@lovemeordie83 there's plenty of men who go through getting raped, but no one even ives a fuck about them. and when feminists keep changing the rules of rape, it gets to the point where even looking at a woman for like two seconds can become rape. i dont want to live in a world where i can get locked up for looking at a woman, shit we already have NDAA. the world is already a fucked up place.
DeadJesusRodeo69 1 month ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 See, now, that's a good point. HERE we tread the thin line between misandry and feminism. Feminism is the appreciation and empowerment of women without necessarily berating men. This should also apply to males who identify as men, transgenders, etc. (Note: SHOULD.)
Also, do you really think it's a less fucked up place for women? Very, very rarely is what you said the case. In fact, when a victim is raped, society says it is their fault for provoking them.
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 ...evenly across the nation. It's not like, oh, we've already got 1 sexual abuse survivor to 4 women who haven't been, so you'll have to transfer to New York I think they're a few women short over there. There are places where sexual abuse survivors are far more concentrated, ie. brothels, ghettos, military, etc. probably has a higher incidence of sexual abuse than your workplace. Also, you have to account for the survivors who haven't said anything. It's not that simple.
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
@lovemeordie83 while there might be a lot of rape, not all men rape. in fact, those that do rape are in a small minority as most men were raised better. besides, most sexual abuse is likely to come from the douchebag she's already dating or hangs out with and not the guy she think is a creep just bc she's not attracted to him. women are so worried about "stranger danger" that they dont consider that most sexual abuse comes from ppl you've already known.
DeadJesusRodeo69 1 month ago
con) Feminists also NEVER talk about lesbian rape or domestic violence which is actually proven to be far more prevalent than male on female sexual abuse due to ppl looking the other way or the justice system not taking lesbian abuse seriously.
DeadJesusRodeo69 1 month ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 'Men who rape are a small minority' You don't know that. Alot of the time, a girl reveals some skin, drinks too much, the man takes advantage of her. No one sends him to jail. No one tells him he's a rapist. He's just a bro who managed to get some ass, and the girl is stuck with being a 'slut'. She is told she was asking for it. THAT'S MISOGYNY. That's hatred of women. If feminism fought against anything, it would be the misogyny that goes into advocating rape.
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
@lovemeordie83 So what happens if BOTH parties are too drunk to consent which is just as common if not more common? Or what if they both consent drunk and the woman wakes up with the 2 she consented with? Rape is wrong but the what is rape discussion is much deeper than what most feminists make it out to be...
modernphotographer 1 month ago
@lovemeordie83 Misogyny doesn't advocate rape just because you say it does. It does advocate violence just because you say it does. The inequality that exists is what misogynists fight against. And we fight for that equality for all people, regardless of race. No person should be judged for or against based on race or sex, but by their own individual merits.
Pax00Imperium 3 weeks ago 2

fidelbogen 2 weeks ago
@DeadJesusRodeo69 What you said about a feminist accusing a man of raping her by looking at her, THAT'S misandry. That's taking that same opposition against misogyny, attributing the misogyny to every man she sees, for whatever reason, and belittling him and making him feel sorry he was ever born for having a penis. They don't care if you're a transsexual male. They don't care if you're a nice guy. As far as they're concerned, if you have a penis, you are part of the problem. THAT'S not right.
lovemeordie83 1 month ago
I think she presented a poor argument, she basically went down the shamming language road and attempted to invalidate MRAs or any of their points against feminism by implying some inherit hated of women. Per usual like most feminist, her argument deflected off any real facts or "points"but rather just a rant that had nothing to really do about why people are anti-feminist outside the"they must hate women"shtick.
Dobogio 1 month ago
i love the way you belittle mens rights and belittle their movement and say they are all misogynists. yay for equality
eggiliciousness 1 month ago
She is correct in saying that the MRM is more Anti Feminist than it is about men's rights but it's not the same old misogyny. It's a response to the out of control misandry feminists have been engaged in over the past few decades. Men are not only more often killed or attacked by women but it is widely celebrated in the media when they are. The interesting thing here though is that ten years ago a feminist would not have had to take the time to acknowledge that there even was a men’s movement.
cybrotius 1 month ago
Sodini didn't have any connection with PUA. He was a sexually frustrated man who was extremely bitter because despite being kind no women liked him sexually, and he was alone. Roissy and others, after the death, mentioned that he would have done better if he learned game and wouldn't be depressed.
This isn't helpful. If she has some specific concern with violent men, voicing her concern about them would help but it's not clear her dislike of MRAs is based on actual real life events.
