Here are some hard numbers. 2.5 grams of PGX fiber is the equivalent of 25 grams of another popular fiber, pysllium, or 75 grams of oat bran. You'd have to eat 15 bowls of oat bran in one sitting to get the same amount of fiber in just a little PGX.
I dont have much interest in reading the book as I'm already very familiar with the benefits of fiber, but what I'm trying to find out is how much PGX powder does it take to equal 35g of normal fiber? I thought I heard somewhere it was much less. Can you confirm this? Does the book talk about PGX specifically or just fiber in general? Thanks
