Lucky to have rescue boat have had to sail in with snap mast and sail split in too many a time its a scary experience

Gaastra makes a sail with kevlar webbing. Also, use 1/4 nylon rope instead of 3/16 polyester. Yes the rope does streach a bit, but it doesn't snap leaving you to wish you had an oar.
