when your taking your old frame out, the way i did it was i took my flat tool pried the lcd up and the frame just came right out with out forcing it out lol=)..idk if you knew it or not but just wanted to let you know-)

I'm gonna take his advice, and that of the other 12 videos I've watched and just get it all together pre-assembled. It's cheap and I dont need the stress!

i have a 4 generations i pod touch it was wash what a shame not a scratch on it but it stared working yesterday now the clock said its in 1970 January 3 any way the only app that wont work is you tube but it will connect to the internet also the scree ether has water under the protector a nice one or under the glass i think it under the glass any ideas

my ipod will not sense touch.... if i flick near the top it will work for like 3 min if i"m gentle with it.... if i replace the digitizer and screen will that fix it? the screen is not cracked but i dropped it a few times with a case on it.... but it worked fine after that... and now its broken

hey i went swimming and mine didt turn on but now id does but the sensors are shit and the screen is broken on the bottom right, is buying a new screen panel a good idea or do i need to take it in. mines jailbroken so i worry about taking it to apple.

its almost impossible to keep the mid frame in good condition. Just did mine today and the plastic frame cracked.

i threw away my old screen and everything that was attached to it because the installation video didnt mention anything about frames or brezel so i have have is the button with the chip and the screen with the ribbon cable will the ipod still work??

hey, my ipods touch screen stops working pretty often. There is also alot of dust under the digitiser or whatever its called. now, is it the dust thats stopping it working? or is it the actually screen thats broken?

after you remove the broken glass... use a hairdryer to heat up the ipod screen then put it in and it will bond much better! :)!

Hey I purchase a Mid frame bezel, but it has the metal contact thing on it but donsn't have the button clicking thing on it! Should I take it off, and use my old one??

@CyberODC Does the home button actully connect to the ipod in anyway. i got a digitizer and mid frame bezel but i didnt realize i didnt have the button clicky think either, so i took off old old and ripped it. So the question is... Does the bezel connect to the ipod in any way. (electronicly)

Yes. Just make sure you use as little as possible, and avoid the area immediately around the button opening.

Take your time, spread the glue thin, and you'll be fine.

hi big fan, but i got a problem i got my bezel and digitizer from ebay and the bezel doesn't come with a glue on it. I have this pack of adhesive glue for glass but the problem is the glue bonds the glass with the plastic so should i use it or not?
