Yelp is a bad business model. It encourages people to judge other people...often time with a lot of malice. It starts out with good intention, but have been hijacked by a lot of mean spirited people.
Small Businesses for the most part hate Yelp...and most are desperate to find an alternative. Yelp is destine to fall because its business is base on fear and intimidation.
yelp is crap but ppl shouldn't try to pass off their crappy restaurants on count of yelp. they are 2 separate things. if u got crappy restaurant don't blame yelp for negative reviews.

Just keep talking and explaining to your clients and prove them that Yelp is a high tech vandalism style for sick people verses old time where they used to take a rock and break our stores windows. yelp is a terrorist organization who has ponzy scheme Jeremy funded from foreign country who likes to destroy American businesses and control us by foreign owned corporations!

It's really sad to have bunch of kids bulling hard working small business owner who invested all his/her savings and time following his/her American dream of opening a business. But unfortunately so many businesses fall in their trap and pay anywhere from $300 to $1,000 per month and make Yelp bigger and stronger...Fellow business ownerd, we simply need to refuse to finance this extortion.. Search "Yelp Tour" on YouTube and see where your money is really going.. It's definitely not helping you.
If a business wants to not use the website at all because they decide I DO NOT LIKE THIS SERVICE AT ALL! Guess what
You can not take your yelp page down! Imagine if Facebook was like that
one day you decide I do not want my Facebook up anymore and you can not take it down. Never mind negative reviews not being able to come down. You can not take yourself off Yelp all together !
