One question: Couldn't you use water conditioners (for example Amquel) to neutralize the chlorine and heavy metals in the tap water, thus making it safe for your lucky bamboo? If this is true, then that would be ALOT cheaper cuz you only need 5ml of Amquel or almost any water conditioner per 10 gallons of tap water.
oh crap i bin using tap water and i got it sitting in a cup with some marbles so can i just buy a bottle of water like deer park water or do i have to use water like the ones people use for baby bottles and do the plant grows better in dirt ???
Thanks for your lucky bamboo videos. You showed HOW to water the plant and how often, but how MUCH water should you apply? In other words, how do you tell when you've put enough water in the pot. (Cuz I know you mentioned in another video not to water it too much so that it's not in standing water.)
I live near the foothills of colorado, and my tap water is extremly clear and straight from the mountian springs. I dont know if its healthy or not. how long does it take a plant to be poisoned by tap water?
Yes your water should be perfectly fine. I lived in the Oregon Mountains a year ago and the water was the same. Crystal clear, my bamboo loved it. To be safe, I tested the water on one of my stalks before I used it to water all my plants. Do that and you should know if your water is truly safe for your plants. Thanks for your question :)
How often do you water it, thats the question i was hoping to get answered
