Honestly why is kennen horrible early game against any mid champion? I have no problem backing towards a tower in top lane and going against bottom bot, but mid lane champions usually kill me because there's no good damage exchange. All the mid has to do is hide back behind minions, buy boots to counter my q whenever they run after and immediately retreat. Mids usually have abilities that go through minions whereas autoattack w draws minion fire and needs closer range. He's worthless early.

Kennen was the second champion I bought, he fits me perfectly, simply because I am a ninja. His skill set = risk because he is sort of a close ranged caster. In spite of his risky close caster style, it is the ninja style.

I don't think he's that squishy imo. Sure he's very soft once he's attacked but that's why you get E at lv 2. Great for running away. And i always carry my flash for offense n defense. Low cooldown isn't that good, energy refils fast but not fast enough that you should throw shuriken every chance you get.

Why this kennen guide sucks

1. He does not need a lot of hp and armor lightning rush gives armor and speed for you

2. Do not use cooldown runes on a energy champ without any energy runes your energy will go down quicker and you wont do shit half the time

3. Do not use ghost/exhaust you dont need exhaust since you got aoe stun to already to win fights, you dont need ghost since you have extra movement speed with lightning rush instead use flash so you can go to a spot where you can hit them withr

Zhonyas hourglass has an active that makes you invulnerable for 2 seconds tho' , really nice for kennen actually. I think they nerfed the stats on it and added the active instead.

@TheTemplar1000 Different purposes within the team. Vlad's more stronger and his ult drops people, plus his laning is stronger with his Q and some spellvamp. However kennen has the ability to penta-stun in teamfights and bring a decent amount of aoe damage too. It's up to you really, watch some streams of both; pick by preference?

dont make guides if dont know whats the best .ur masteries where good ur runes sucked and ur items are horrible u schould start dorans shield get sorc or merc depending on the situation or if u build an early haunting guise u get merc anyways allso get abysal or if ur in lane long enough start on the 80 ap staff and build early zhonays u dont really need rylais cus of all the cc u schould rather build damage over health cus u dont tend to get focused allot if ur well placed.

btw, kennen is on of the hardest dealer in game, make a 21 9 0 masterie-tree and game kennen at first on ad and ap and later hard in ap, so u kill enemies really hard
