Hi Stuneedel. This is Stevie. I took the video of Sandi singing Butterfly. I first saw Jana sing this song at a Northern California Songwriters Association function many years ago - somewhere on the peninsular South of San Francicso (can't remember where). I immediately fell in love with the song and bought the CD off of her. One of my very favorite songs - it's precious.

Stuneedel I know what you mean, I have sang her song several times in intimate settings, even my best friends funeral and all the children gathered around me as I sang it, It is truly an awesome song and an beautiful explanation for children as well as grown-ups to understand and embrace transition.

Sandi, that was beautiful! Jana is a dear friend of mine and "Butterfly" is one of my favorite songs of hers. Her message, voice, and music are amazing and have touched so many lives, like mine. I have performed with her in the past and have witnessed her performing "Butterfly" in intimate private concert settings during which I've seen mothers and daughters embracing each other, crying, once they understand the song's message. Jana is a gift to this planet and a blessing to each of us!!
