Heros are forgotten... but legends never die. They didnt give him the medal of honor becuase they needed a badass like him on the frontlines. Screw Masterchief I want Lieutenant Spiers. He is a true soldier like no other.

After WW2 he went to Korea and retired at lt.colonel. He then went on to be a prison warden.

I think he reached the rank of Lt. Colonel, went to Korea and during the early 60´s he was warden of the famous german prison os Spandau, were he watched among others, nazi jerarch Rudolf Hess imprisoned for life there. Incredible career where Speirs got the chance to administer a prison, almost 20 years after he fought in the same old country.

LT. Spears is such a badass, His earlier scene from this episodes is just an amazing. Its soldiers like him that we all (fellow soliders) idolize, his boundless courage and unwavering attitude is legend. and at the end of WWII he was warden of a prison.
