From what I understand the Russians captured a BMW factory in WW2, later sold machine parts to the Chinese . Both Russians and Chinese made BMW knock-offs. It needs constant tinkering but is pretty cool.
Way cool! Nothing wrong with consant tinckering. After having bigger bikes in the past I "downgraded" to an old yamaha 400 which is undergoing conversion to a Cafe Racer type of bike.
