Wow that's great! I was accepted into the summer guitar seminar and am going to apply as a guitarist for the pop music program next year. It would be cool to know if you got in once you know. Great soling btw. Is it mirrired off of a song or just pure blues improv?

@Bonedadyo Thanks, I appreciate it! It's a bummer he sold them, but he has some luthier built ones now that are every bit as good. He let me borrow his '88 for this vid, I love that guitar- not the right '59 specs, but plays and sounds great!

That's all that matters then! 59's are just one of those controversial subjects, just like a Stradivarius. One of the reasons why a lot of those 59's impress so many players with their feel is because a lot of them have been reworked, including the necks being reset, by luthiers over the years. But that whole subject is a can of worms that always ends up ugly. LOL! cont..
