@chinangel I think that one reason that a lot of people seem to dislike The Last Samurai is because they misinterpret the title. If you watched the movie thinking that Tom Cruise was supposed to be "The Last Samurai," then it's expected that you'd have have a messed up image of the movie, because well... that's just ridiculous. However, if you look at Katsumoto as being the titular character. I think stuff makes a lot of sense.
