wow, quite the difference. problem is, if i remember correctly, that the roland sound card was just way too expensive for the average nerd. i think it was around 800 deutsch marks back in the day.
Some friends and I did an album of Larry music and this was the title track. Surprisingly, our works were based on the older, less powerful music hardware because that's what my Atari happened to have at the time.
I've not heard the MT-32 versions until today. Thanks for the upload.
I came here to watch this because I had just started whistling the melody to myself. And I haven't played this game in nearly 20 years. gg Sierra.

this soundchip sounds very similar to what was in the Roland D-10 Keyboards.
