  • "Dr. Crance isn't here right now, but if you'd like to make an appointment...?"

^Allusion to a split personality, perhaps?

  • One of the reasons why I love Scarecrow SO much more than Joker is that He's one of the only Batman villains who is comepletely sane.

  • ligit!

  • Cillian Murphy is adorable, but Scarecrow scares the crap out of me.

  • @UryuOrihimelover4eva I think the same. Every time he sprays the gas i imagine my fear. But Cillians soooooooooo cute i <3 his eyes!

  • @LisaChick1998 Agree! I'm a sucker for blue eyes. <3 lol

  • Funny how scarecrow sits under the staircase waiting for batman Lol.

  • "its duh freakin' bat!"

  • The Batman suit is so much better in this movie than DKR, they should never have changed it.

  • why the hell do they always call damn cops all time?

  • What the fuck is Crane afraid of?

  • @NickolasAndrews , un-surprisingly he's afraid of bats according to the comics and cartoons.

  • Ahh, scarecrow is the best villain! They need to make a batman film where he is the main villain..

  • @AshhBoyy he's the main villian in Batman Begins.... -_-

  • @RaptureRiddimz Is he? shit i aint seen that film in so long, i thought it was Ra's al ghul.. i dont remember seeing much of scarecrow.. oh wel, my bad

  • I thought Ra's Al Ghul was pronounced as Raysh Al Gool

  • @deatheclipse123 It is, they just changed it/messed it up in this film.

  • @SpinalTree oh i see i see

  • @SpinalTree Strangely enough, the film version *is* the correct way to pronounce the word in Arabic, Denny O'Neil and co didn't know better when they originally created the character and the animated series just went with what they thought it was.

  • @SentinelTera Well even so it's been what's most been spoken in the Batman mythos to date. Even in recent things like Under The Red Hood which came out in 2010 it was said that way. While it may not be true to life it is at least true to Batman in the same way that Mortal Kombat's Raiden may not be 100% accurate to the actual Japanese mythological figure but is consistent within the fictional series. Nolan's hyperrealism may be responsible for this accuracy alteration.

  • The scarecrow was an amazing villain! Which makes it more awesome he'll probably be the weakest link in the Nolan Batman bad guys!

  • at 1:55 cue sound of Crane shitting his pants......

  • emm how the fuck is crane able to joke even with that poison ??? I mean...

'crane is not here right now o.o ... but if you like to make an appointment... '

  • "The... Batmaaan..."

    lol that was hammy.

  • Cillian Murphy is a great actor. He is underrated.

  • why does batmans face go all black and freaky??? PLEASE ANSWER

  • @Azzeroo2000 Because Batman sprayed some of Crane's fear-gas to him and Crane then saw Batman as one of the monsters who gave him nightmares as a child, hope that helped =)

  • @xxRAWRxGIRLxx it did thanks!

  • @Azzeroo2000 no prob =3

  • I somehow remember from one set of comics that scarecrow was afraid of birds? cant really remember, I might be thinking of something else too

  • Cillian Muuuurphyyy *drool* I love this film

  • @TheOneWithTheHair1 lol, same here, drooling and all

  • he s here

    who

    the batmaaaan

  • Scarecrow had a fear of bats which eventually turns into a fear of batman.

  • What is that supposed to be that Scarecrow sees when sprayed with the fear toxin?

  • @AmbitionsOfMan Scarecrow is afraid of Uruk Hai.

  • I don't know how the fear gas works but if its always what you find scary, then Scarecrow must be afraid of trolls or stone monsters or something.

  • @WYJAFAK2 In the commics..... He has no fear

  • Makes my spine tingle when I hear Cillian say "The... Batmaaan..."

  • @themenaceanish did you also eat a pile of shit today when you said this sentence!?

  • @Epidemic747 No but your momma did XD

  • @themenaceanish batman begins was critically acclaimed, and if it were not successful, there wouldn't have been a sequel.

  • @LawsonComedy And? It's pretty much forgotten. It wasn't anywhere near as critically acclaimed as Dark Knight nor did it make anywhere near the cash.

Fuck Borefest Begins, Heath Leder alone in Dark Knight is better than shitty Begins.

  • @themenaceanish It's not forgotten, it was underrated and dark knight was overrated. Watch Dark Knight when Heath Ledger's not onscreen. It's not so amazing.

  • @LawsonComedy Heath Ledger alone is better than Batman Begins.

BB sucked, you couldn't see any of the action because of the shitty camerawork.

RIP Heath Ledger, you were awesome.

  • @themenaceanish disagree.

  • @themenaceanish Lawson, forget even bothering to fight the BB corner, cuz this guy isn't even paying attention. To say BB is "pretty much forgotten" is a ridiculous statement. I mean, why are you even here, watching the damn video if it's so "shitty"?

  • I really loved Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow I hope we see him back in The Dark Knight Rises

  • @INF3darkgreen we do see him back :D (according to IMDB's cast list)

  • @8RavenclawGirl8 awsome :) I hope he gets a lot of screen time

  • @INF3darkgreen

And hopefully he doesn't get beat up in two seconds cause lets face it, Scarecrow is one of the scariest baddest villians out of them all

  • @INF3darkgreen He will be back :D

  • @INF3darkgreen im pretty sure we will because wikipedia says hes the only villan in all 3 batman movies. I <3 him!!!!!!!!!!

  • I liked TDK because of The Joker and Two Face. But I liked BB because of Scarecrow, it's grittier side of Gotham and Batman himself was better portrayed.I kind of prefer BB more but TDK is amazing too.

  • call the police, lol

  • lmaoooo Sacrecrow said "call the police" wtf???

  • 1:55 That's how Terry looks like in the da new batsuit in batman beyond

  • Spry Scarecrow with gis own fear gas?? Only Batman can do this

  • Make the criminals piss themselves.

  • Wow some people need their heads checked. Bale is the best batman to date. He actually stays true to the comics unlike. Keaton. Sure he was fun to watch in the first two. But he didnt even bother reading a comic or two like bale. And the reason batman had that tone was the fact that he wanted to strike fear onto the criminals. in the comics he read. Batman was described as being animal like towards thugs. And that he had a animalistic voice to mak

  • @SpinalTree Micheal Keaton? Micheal Keaton? Micheal Keaton was too old to play Batman (38) too skinny (155lbs) He even needed a hairpiece to attempt to give off a younger image which he couldn't get away with because of his wrinkled mouth. Christian Bale fitted the bill 100% and he was passionate about the Batman mystique and phenomenon. Kevin Conroy is the "voice" of Batman indeed but you can't associate him with actors who have portrayed Batman on the Big screen which includes Adam West on TV.

  • batman turns to archon!

too bad he's not say "emerging is complete!"

    :D

  • 1:51 If I was Scarecrow I would be pissing all over myself.

  • I like this Scarecrow, I mean Polic was good but as a voice actor, Scarecrow wasn't in the live action and I think Murphy brought out the true Scarecrow. Fear is life.

  • Predator mode from the bad guys perspective.lol

  • Am I alone in thinking Crane was portrayed as a pervert in this movie? In the scenes involving fear he has this look on his face where you can tell he is aroused, even when he see's Batman as a monster. He clearly "gets off" quite literally on the idea of fear-which makes him all the more creepy. Overall an excellent portrayal.

  • @dkupke I agree. I absolutely love the portrayal of Scarecrow in this film. One of my favorite villain portrayals in ANY superhero film and probably my favorite of the Batman series.

  • my voice does not sound like his!

  • "the batmaaan" he is so smexy when he says it at 0:09 he should receive an award just for the way he say that

  • Is the ultimate Sid Wilson Mask XD

  • &, he isn't so weak!!! He knows how to fight. I hate the christopher nolan batman series

  • I hate this Scarecrow. He is a disgrace for having the name "Scarecrow".

  • @benjieboyhero

Blame the writers not the actor

  • haha i just went trough that map On the Game. cause i Am going trough my Old games. and they said the exact lines as on the game :D

  • just like arkham city gameplay :P apart from pulling an enemy up into the ceiling or roof ect that would have been amazing to do that

  • Comment removed

  • I'm pretty sure Crane shit himself.

  • Scarecrow is an awesome villian, and Cillian Murphy portrays him nicely. :D

  • This movie was shit compared to Dark Knight. Begins was childs play compared to the far superior TDK.

Heath Ledger alone is better than the whole of Batman Begins.

  • @themenaceanish Obsessive fanboy alert.

  • @SidBurn4686 Just because I think Dark Knight is better than this shitty movie that I'm automatically a fanboy? LOL!

And even if I am a fanboy, so what?

  • @themenaceanish well the reason why the dark knight is in bigger scale is because now you know all about batman so you can now go against all the awesome villains and big action and story. the story in begins is how batman came to be of course so of course they are not gonna have action. and also the villain in begins was really good too just that you thought he was boring because he wasnt in a clown make up and going ''aLOOK AT MKEIM CRAZY'' no ras al gul AKA liam neeson was calm

  • @themenaceanish so of course you are gonna say the joker is a better character because he is the most crazy while you are gonna hate the awesome master who taugh batman and is very sneaky and intelligent because he is not loud. you just want explosions not story.

  • @anessone The awesome master lmfao! That 'awesome master' is virtually the same character in the shitty Star Wars prequel XD

The Joker pawns the liam neeson character anyday, just look at all the views that The Joker clips on YouTube have received. The vast majority of people will agree with me that The Joker is way better than the liam neeson character.

  • @themenaceanish the reason why you agree with that is because the character is all explosive and in your face. who are you gonna recognize more a clown with flashy lights or a calm villain. imagine that it wasnt liam neeson playing the master it was someone else but he still acted calm.

  • @themenaceanish i mean that master taught batman all he knew and especially taught him the rule of ''be more that a man in the mind of your opponent. fear fucks them up. you need to become more than a man you need to be a n ideal or symbol so that you can become legend.'' i mean that is fucking awesome

  • @themenaceanish and views does nto matter man i mean rebecca black had alot of videos on her shitty song does that mean she is good. HELL NO

  • @themenaceanish a lot of people watched transformers does that tmean its the best movies ever HELL NO

  • @anessone The first Transformers movie was ok, the other two were trash. But Batman Begins is trash also XD

    Heath Ledger = Academy Award

Did anyone from BB win any award? Did anyone from BB give even half the performance that Ledger gave? Dark Knight pawns Batman Begins in every way.

  • @themenaceanish they all gave really great performances in BB again the reason why TDK is better to everyone's because sine you know how batman's origin now you can go big and let him fight a famous supervillain. and sine the super villain in the movie is the joker everyone is gonna pay more attention to him than ras al gul. and awards dont matter. the torist won 3 awards or was nominated for three reward and that movie at best is ok

  • @themenaceanish and another reason is because BB explains more and is more story and less action while TDK is all blow up and a huge batman kickass beat the ass movie.

  • @themenaceanish and again BB is more story and less explosives and action or the action was more batman being scarry to his apponents and the shaky camera during fight scenes was on purpose since when he was fist fighting it was supposed to be from the point of view of batman's attacker and he looks scarry and blurry and unstoppable which is why people find it 'boring' while TDK is more explosions and more batman and more joker which everybody loves the joker.

  • @anessone I really hate to interrupt a heated debate, but would everyone find it agreeable that TDK and BB both just happen to be really good movies? It's just that some people -- GASP -- happen to like one better than the other. I personally prefer TDK, but that doesn't mean BB isn't a good movie -- it's amazing, fantastic even. Even still I think the new Batman: Year One adaptation recently released is better than both movies or any Batman movie before it, which I know many will disagree with.

  • @SpinalTree Batman Year One? Pfft XD!

Dark Knight pawns all other Batman movies put together.

  • @themenaceanish if he is talking about the first animated series of batman then fcuk you in the ass man that is unforgiveable because batman TAS is just beyond fucking awesome. the joker i think is better in TAS mark hamill did a really good job on him.

  • @themenaceanish Have you even seen Year One? It's a perfect adaptation of the best Batman book of all time (behind only The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, who also wrote Year One). Also, if it weren't for Year One, Batman Begins would not exist, as it was a basis for the movie, and thus without it The Dark Knight would not exist.

  • @SpinalTree No, I'm not a comic book geek. But Dark Knight was an awesome movie. It puts previous adaptations to shame, just leave it at that.

  • @themenaceanish I compel you to give the Batman comics a chance. They are just as dark, brutal and deep, if not more so, than Dark Knight. The comic Joker does terrible things like cripple Batgirl, kills Robin by beating him to death with a crowbar, forces a father at gunpoint to masturbate to a picture of his 6-year-old daughter; Batman, while never killing, gives criminals what they deserve by permanently and painfully scarring or disfiguring them, breaking their bones out of their skin, etc.

  • @SpinalTree Cool, might just do that. But TDK is the best batman movie, none of the previous movies come close.

  • @themenaceanish I recommend comics Year One, Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke, Serious House On Serious Earth, Death In The Family, Hush, Heart Of Hush, Going Sane, Anarky, Cacophony, Widening Gyre, Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Living Hell, All-Star Batman & Robin, Lovers And Madmen, Broken City, Brian Azzarello's Joker. And movies Mask Of The Phantasm, Under The Red Hood, and Year One. Also if you like Spider-Man try comics Blue, Death Of Stacys, Kraven's Last Hunt, Death Of Jean DeWolff.

  • @SpinalTree yeah the batman comics are just... awesome

  • @themenaceanish lolno

BB is a better comic book movie than TDK. TDK tried to pass off as some cheesy "detective crime drama" movie. Take Heath's performance out of that film and it's a very "meh" film.

  • @shadow1dx I agree Heath Ledger owned The Dark Knight. But Batman Begins was a far shitter duller movie than The Dark Knight. TDK had far better action. Batman Begins = Borefest Begins LOOOL!

    RIP Heath Ledger.

  • @themenaceanish TDK had WAY more boring dialogue. Besides the car chase the action was "meh" again. Not to mention that it DRAGGED ON FOREVER. The last 30 minutes could've been taken out.

BB is a better comic book movie which is what a Batman movie should be.

    Get mad.

  • @SpinalTree haha dude im not hating on TDK i love that too. its just that. you can tell why he hates BB. cause its all ''boring shit that explains how batman is the man he is'' crap andhe just wants batman to punch people and that is a sing of an idiot

  • @SpinalTree i never heard of batman year one. i should look up to that one. or do you mean the animated series because nothing NOTHING can top the first animated series of batman

  • @anessone Year One is a recent direct-to-dvd movie that is an adaptation of the book by Frank Miller. I agree that BTAS is the best Batman show but Year One IMO is my favorite Batman movie. It's based on the best Batman book ever, behind only The Dark Knight Returns, which is also written by Frank Miller, who also created 300 and Sin City. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I agree that it really sucks when people are jerks about expressing them.

  • @SpinalTree ah. i should watch that then cause frank miller is pretty good. well i hate 300 because when it comes to that period of fighting i like it to be a bit realistic. but sin city is really good.

  • @SpinalTree and i dont mind if he prefers TDK but it makes no sense to shit on it. like if he respected the movie and said ''it was nice buuut i prefer TDK'' well thats ok..

  • @anessone $1 billion worldwide, 8 Oscar nominations, a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for one of the greatest performances of all time, universal critical acclaim.

Dark Knight completely shits all over BB.

  • @themenaceanish dude do you know how many movies there are that get released in a year. and also how many movies they pick for a certain part. like 5 movies. so that doesnt mean that much. TDK is good because you already know about batman so then they can focus on the villain and hero for the rest of the movie while in BB they had to focus the whole half of the movie on bruce wayne becoming batman. are you even reading this.

  • @anessone Yes I am reading it. All of Bruce Wayne's backstory was boring ass hell. The movie picked up when we first saw Batman but overall the movie was lame. I didn't give a shit about bruce wayne's oh so tragic life, I want to see a Batman movie and it takes over an hour of this shitty movie to see him. It's one of the reason why Dark Knight pawns this gay movie.

  • @themenaceanish so you admit you are a retard. your just an idiot man. you are like ''I WANT BATMAN NOW'' so your opinion doesnt matter because if a title in a movie says BATMAN BEGINS they story is definitely gonna tell you about bruce wayne's bring up to fight justice. it just makes sense you fucking idiot. your a fucking tard you god damn batman now piece of shit. your a fucking prick you want explosions an actiomn so fuck you, batman isnt all action you bitch.

  • @themenaceanish but hey i guess you dont like assassins because they are quiet and boring even though it fucking explains why batman uses scare tactics and how he knew he had to be a symbol not just one random day went like ''you know i want to kick ass'' well sorry man but it doesnt work that way. i bet if bruce wayne was taught by someone who uses only explosives youd be enjoyed.

  • @anessone Yeah I probably have enjoyed it if there were more explosions. Sure I'm not talking about Michael Bay style explosions everywhere but the first hour of was soooo boring and all his 'backstory' was pretty pointless.

Dark Knight never had that problem as there was something happening in every scene. Plus Heath Ledger was mesmerizing as the terrifying Joker.

  • @themenaceanish well dude again the reason why TDK was so focused on batman being batman and a super villain is because of BB. even though i think his backstory answered all the questions. and alright sure i like ninjas and how ras al gul pushes play on fear and be more than a man in the mind of your opponent. to me that is just pretty nice.

  • @themenaceanish and also i think you are one of those people who prefers a loud look at me character than a calm and cooled down character. lets just say this isnt bat man. if i created a movie youd like the loud person more than the quiet one. i would like both of them depending of their personality and character

  • @themenaceanish does it even matter? it's directed by the same guy and the same fucking people act in both. stop creaming your pants every time you see heath ledger mentioned

  • @musiqman0709 Wow your logic is amazing. So because the two movies are directed by the same people and pretty much the same actors are in it that means they should be equally amazing? LOL! That means Indiana Jones 4 is just as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark XD

  • @themenaceanish No I'm not saying that; you're basically sucking Heath Ledgers deceased dick, which kind of annoyed me. Sorry.

  • @musiqman0709 Heath Ledger won an Academy Award and received universal critical acclaim for his performance so I'm sorry if you can't see that.

  • @themenaceanish And Christian Bale won 9 awards, what's your point?

  • @musiqman0709 Christian Bale was pathetic in both movies with his shitty dog voice. He sounds like he's getting raped XD

  • @themenaceanish He has to disguise his voice to protect his identity. And how do you know what a man getting raped sounds like? Nevermind I dont wanna know.

  • @musiqman0709 I was just using a simile you dumbass. But anyway the fact is Bale's voice sucked. He didn't need to disguise his voice like a mentally retarded fucker. Oh and the vast majority of people will agree with me that his voice was cringeworthy and embarassing to listen to. Plus his character was overshadowed by the far superior Joker. I wanted him to totally destroy Batman.

  • @themenaceanish For a simile to work you would still have to know what you're comparing an object with means. That's like me saying a food tastes like chicken and me never eating chicken. Anyway, point me to the majority of people that agree with you, I'd like to see that. And there you go kissing Heaths ass again.

  • @musiqman0709 The general view is that Bale's batman voice sucked. Now if you wanna find out for yourself then go ahead. If you thought Batman sounded ok then lol! His 'hockey pads' line was pure cringeworthy X

'I'M NOT WEARING HOCKEY PADS!' Pfft XD

What a joke lol! Michael Keaton was a way better Batman then Bale will ever be.

  • @themenaceanish 3/10 try harder next time

  • @musiqman0709 Can't think of anything else to say? LOL! Bless you.

  • @themenaceanish Nah it's obvious you're trolling, nice try though

  • @themenaceanish Keaton captured the personality of Batman perfectly. He portrayed that tormented, semi-disturbed personality to the t. But Bale definitely has the body for it. That said, Bale's voice as Batman os horrible-during that last fight with the Joker I cringed at how obviously blown up and out of breath he was trying to do that voice.

  • @dkupke Bale sucked period. He was never a match for Heath Ledger.

    'I'M NOT WEARING HOCKER PADS!'

    LOL!

  • 2:19 I'm batman

  • Ugh, Cillian. Why are you so gorgeous <3

  • Oh god Cillian Murphy is so f*^%ing hot. Scarecrow kicks ass and needs to be in the Dark Knight Rises.

  • scarecrow looks 1000X better on batman arkham asylum than batman begins

  • You see Scarecrow? This is what you get for trying to burn Batman alive.

  • Cillian had a really sexy voice in this. o____o

He does American accents like a boss.

  • Batman sounds like a voice changer kid on XBOX LIVE.

  • This scene just shows why Scarecrow needs to be back in The Dark Knight Rises. he's the running gag of the series. he probably thinks of himself as scary but once you're innoculated to his toxin he's not much of a physical threat.

  • @Regenmacher175 Cillian Murphy was supposedly spotted on the set, so he might just be in the film.

  • @Regenmacher175 Well if DKR is like Knightfall Bane will free all of arkham's inmates.

  • anyone else reminded if arkhum asylum here? when you gotta take out joker's henchroom in various rooms

  • Scarecrow was a little off because his fear is Bats....Henceforth Batman...So he shouldn't have been happy.

  • batman looks cool but scary in this scene

  • Cillian Rules as scarecrow! nuff said

  • they picked they right guy to play scarecrow cillian murphy is great and i cant wait to see what he's like in the dark knight rises

  • I've only just been getting back into Batman and Scarecrow is already the most awesome villain of the series!

  • He's returning for the last movie....OMG yes!!

  • @nastyplot555 Scarecrows back? hell yea,, we get to see some DK again..

  • scarecrow looks like tobuscus lol !

  • He's the only reason I even watch this movie......Scarecrow rocks!

  • Scarecrow was definitely the weakest link in this film. He was not as developed as the other characters and did not have enough screen time.

  • btw Cillian Murphy fucking OWNS this scene.....the way he seems fascinated by 'The Batman' was one of the most memorable moments in the movie for me....he makes it seem exciting or something as he looks around in wonder..... I can't describe it.

  • 1:54 HOLY SMOKES. Yep. Not getting any sleep tonight.

  • I like this take on scarecrow, remember,he's a scientist with fear gas,he's not trained in martial arts like batman so of course he gets beaten easily by him in hand to hand, and nolans batman movies take on more realistic aproaches,so he didn't put him in brown and yellow torn clothes and a witch hat

  • why the ppl just gave scarecrow a mask? wheres da hat? wheres da costume? all i c is a mask n he looks like he's retardly works in a court of course he is but still i like da movie i just expect more

  • I wish they brought Scarecrow back for The Dark Knight Rises. Since it looks like the League of Shadows will be back, it would be interesting to see Bane bust out Scarecrow.

  • @BoukenCrimson LOL your wish came true. He was spotted doing a scene on the set.

  • The batmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan...

  • I'm glad they included the Scarecrow in the film because he helps us introduce Batman's fears. He also shows what Batman has to overcome if he has to be a hero.

  • Scarecrow probably hopes that his upcoming cell mate doesn't have any kind of leather fetish..

  • What would the Riddler be like if someone had Fear toxin?

  • " Dr. Crane isn't here right now; but if you'd like to make an appointment, you'll have to wait until he changes his pants."

  • i think crane is just afraid of darkness cause batman becomes completely dark and even dark "liqud" comes out of his mouth so i guess crane is just afraid of the darkness

  • Do they ever say in the credits the actor's name under the demon Batman make-up?

  • 6 people aren't here right now. You'll have to make an appointment.
