its great and i understand animaton of these beautiful horses is difficult but from being with them a wile i noticed few things your horse needs:

trot-your horses head is a bit too downward and stiff. try making it swing a little and tilt the head a little more forward

piaffe-excellent

gallop-same as trot, try bringing it about 10 degrees forward, unstiffin it,

i would make the nek smaller and the legs more thick.

im srry 4 being a knowintall but im just trying to help you improve!!

i would have to disagree with you here. The gallop to me looks perfect, the trot you say looks to stiff? i say it looks collected, how it should if say a dressage rider were riding this horse in a collected trot.

Any critique at all would be the stiffness through the poll in the walk. even that isn't really an issue this animation really is just fantastic! and the way you put the rider on! wow! I've never seen such a good horse animation!

i ride western(since i was 7) so when i ride my horse looks lose and relaxed. I do not use the "collected gaits" when i ride, so i am unaware what horses look like when they collect. this was just my opinion, and again, i no its hard to draw/animate/ride these beau creatures but an animation can never be perfect, no matter wat, everything in this world is flawed in however the tiniest ways, i was trying to help her get closer to perfection :) srry to have pissed u off. juju

AMAZING! The only thing I can say is that the horse's walk is to lateral...its hooves should be tracking up, meaning the back hooves should step or over-step in the place where the front legs just were...like in the trot you did a marelous job of it ^^

Well, isn't it funner just to go ahead and do the gallop? It's almost the same as canter, just faster and the hoofbeats are quicker. And plus I like piaffe better; you hardly ever see it in horse animations.

A piaffe is essentially a trot in place. It's a move that's used in dressage.

as the horse does not move from one place to another doing it, but it is a very lovely movement.
