I think it's the footage itself.

Because in the sections between the footage, the music's playing and it's nice and clear.

Also, the video itself cracked up at one point there.

I think the camera they used was a little bit broken.

That's always a problem - you can't re-shoot the footage, because you can't turn back the clock.

Could have, though, at least tried to, you know, use a sound editing program to try to remove the noises - you should always have a good program for that kind of thing in your video maker's toolbox.
